I think the plastic back is just cost cutting. Having said that, I've started disliking glass backs, after my phone suddenly has a crack (minor, but it still exists), and I don't remember having either dropped it or hit it hard anywhere. So while glass sound fancy, it's way too prone to cracks. I have a military grade cover, and yet it did nothing to help shield it from the crack.

Phones should be made of kevlar or some other plastic. They could make one of a semi transparent or translucent material, to make it look more premium. But glass needs to go. For the back atleast.

      samsunb has gone so fvking cheap that they just used plastic backs for s21 and the plus. even for the vanilla note20, theyre so fvking cheap damn

                  Wait... Those are sold without a charger? Without an earphone I can understand but without charger? Are they not have any shame following iguys?

                    People :smartphone are to expensive.
                    Smartphone manufacturers :increase the prices to the sky. Than sell the phones without charger and headset for a slightly lower price.
                    People :wooow what a deal, it is cheaper that the last year's phone.

                        They won it on the basis of great balanced quality images in every shot.

                        The iPhone got kicked out in the very first round losing to the OnePlus 8T (not even the much superior OP8 pro). It loses as it messes up the white balance in those scenes and the photos just look lifeless compared to some other phones.
                        Deep fusion looks like Deep Confusion for the sensor not being able to handle the first shot.

                          if the price is lower, i dont mind the plastic back. but the main issue is why samsung decide to put vastly different main camera in a same family model. is not like it is between an S series and A series. at least use the same main camera module, and segregate it with inferior zoom and wide camera.

                            For real? It looks sleek, premium, stealth, executive. All my device are in black. Especially matte. Frosted silver comes second.
