I have used several motorola phones, now i want to buy a motorola zn300 or a higher model then zn300, i have contacted most of the big mobile shops in bangalore and every where i get only one answer that motorola is closing in india, if it is so then it will be very dissappointing for many motorola users in india, hope motorola resumes its sales and service in india.

motoming is a very unique looking smartphone but the motorola has to increase the size of the screen because with compare to other smartphones the screen is much smaller, moreover as other companies are bringing phones with 5 mp camera & other fecilities, motoming should be update with bigger, wider screen & 5 mp camera---everybody knows that its really difficult to increase the screen size of a flip phone but its not impossible atleast the scrren size can be the same screen size of samsung star 3g or HTC touch(they are not very big but the size is standard)at least they can increase the size of the phone to the size of motorazr V3i so that the screen size can also be increased-----hope motorola will read this consumer review & will try to upgrade the next model of motoming

frank, 29 Mar 2008yes, moto will release this phone: 1. it will take 3 years... moreFunny.. But not facts..

50 song limit was the V3i with iTunes due to copyrights agreement with Apple. But still it is only capped to 50 songs read per memory card and not per phone. So if you have 2 memory card, you have 100 songs.

            Still funny...

I'll grab this for sure when it comes out, as long as it's nice and sleek like the a1200 was.

But we need more options like that who work with two SIM card.

Frank's comment post was funny, but was it even remotely true about solely Motorola?

                            1. it will take 3 years to get in the stores - Is Motorola a habitual offender of "coming soon"? SE P990 took forever and then flopped.
                            2. it will only be released in Iceland - Again where does this come from?
                            3. it won't have 3G, only Edge because the OS doesn't support it - That is true
                            4. In four years from now they will re-release it as a music phone - I can somewhat see this but Moto reuses many designs.
                            5. The music phone will only have a 50 song limit - That was apple's doing.
6 The music phone will have no external storage card - Not sure where this is coming from.
                            7. It will have no mini-stereo plug - Another E1 reference but SE is the only stupid company to push out music phones with no standard audio jack.
                            8. The camera will go down to 2 Megapixel - Lol
                            7. It will be called the Moto Mockr - Catchy name

i have had a1200 which was nice and that or the a1600 is the single sim version for the person who asked and this phone is not that fat and works great and a great support site for phones like it motorolafans.com

Well, I only use one phone number (other than land lines at home and office) so dual SIM or dual RUIM is pointless for me. I hope they had an option for single SIM version that should cost less.

Does this phone work with GSM & GSM or CDMA & CDMA or GSM & CDMA?
Are they both on (DUAL ON) or not?
                                    How about the battery lifetime?
What system operating used with this phone?

Never heard of the A1600 and will w8 for the A1800 but anyway I would like to say that it appears to me that there are a lot of MotoH8ers in the world which is good 'coz criticism bring change and Moto will stay in business and improve. Let's face facts, Motorola is the most innovative and widely copied company namely; clamshell, 3G, flat keypad(every phonemaker makes it, copied from the ever best-selling V3), touchscreen(started before colour screen), etc, etc. I'm using a Nokia 6234 right now and don't enjoy it as much as I did with my old V360 by which I could've finished writting this email 3 times faster and the Operating System is intelligent(Intelligence Everywhere) so dumb people who're used to and braiwashed by Nokia and its crappy OS duopoly partner Samsung Mobile. My next device surely won't be Samsung or Nokia but Moto or rather Sony Erricson. The much loved S60(N95, etc) and S80(E90, etc) Nokias are good but big, thick and very ugly, the much hyped iPhone has a lot of downsides and the Blackberry as well(only best for email) and I think the two "Lower Grades", as LG is called here in South Africa, the KU990 Viewity and the Windows Mobile-powered KS20 are very good internet smart-phones and will make a big impact but hugely overlooked. Moto Q9h is a good smart-phone too even without wi-fi.
