I think the 9 will only match some specs of the 8 pro, like an imx 689 lens, ddr5 ram. It will be superior with 65W charging and soc 888 of course. But 8pro has ip rating, wireless charging and a telephoto. Except if the soc 865 is not enough powerful for you ... Or you absolutely need a flat screen, no reason to put the 200$ extra that oneplus will probably charge for the 9 compare to your 599.the 9 will probably be a better 8t.

No optical telephoto?? OnePlus is getting blown away by Apple and Samsung in the camera department. OP really needs a 3x or more optical camera to stay relevant.

I would say that OnePlus with new phone will add some better cameras, new fresh design, some new features or something like that. And what we can see is... STILL without periscoped camera and copying the left sided camera setup... middle sided was MUCH BETTER and nicer. I don't know what's going on with this company.

wow, 13 Dec 2020look cheapOneplus USE to be "cheap" but now it's not worth it. If you are hell bent on a Oppo OnePlus phone, wait til the new model comes out, and the fire sale for the previous version. That's what I did with the 7T.
