My main phone and computer aren't android and Windows but I own a pixel 4a and have a windows work laptop. My phone will be at home and my laptop will get all the android notification while I am in another city. Almost like the way iOS and Mac OS works. I love Microsoft Edge over any other browser. I wish macOS had an m1 version. I love how if I am using edge on my iPad or iPhone and the handoff notification pops on my Mac, but I use safari on Mac.

I have try most of the browsers, all they promise that they are secure and safety from adds and popups, but almost all of them have fake promises, and when you hear that they have plausibility for secret mode surfing that's really disgusting, because there is not possible secret mode surfing with your own internet connection even if you go out from a coffee shop or public network...there is mark and identity of your phone or tablet that has to identifies to be able to be connected to websites you surf, so cot the crap, the firefox, edge, crome and all browsers come from crome resources are so junk app that you cant are not built that way to be costumised to be usable as modern tech should be like Opera example, but even opera is degraded by developer company that is using it as a tool for costumers click for pay or PTC pyramidal architecture, so the other browsers use the same schema for adds, the only browser for windows7 or w10 is Brave browser that is light, no popup and stop almost all adds but still cant costumise home-screen that much. Brave have that option to syncronise betwen devices. As for Android i'm still using BoatBrowser because it's best browser and fast and easy to use.

AnonD-940827, 17 Dec 2020Can you please call it by the real name? Internet explorer.! WRONG! Internet Explorer is no more. I wouldn't really miss IE if Microsoft completely dropped it tbh, the new Chromium Edge is so impressive that I even uninstalled Chrome and not looking back.

AnonD-940827, 17 Dec 2020Can you please call it by the real name? Internet explorer.! Actually under the hood is chromium

AnonD-940827, 17 Dec 2020Can you please call it by the real name? Internet explorer.! IE is no more. Even first EDGE was different, not to mention NewEdge which is based on chromium engine. It's as far as it goes from Internet Explorer

Edge is quickly implementing all the essential features. Impressive.

I've been using Edge for the past couple of months, and I'm rather satisfied with it. It's arguably the best browser on Windows right now.

Anonymous, 17 Dec 2020Only on Windows 10? And only between Windows and Android? ... moreBecause windows 10 and android are the most widely used and popular systems out in the public everywhere. Apple things can stay locked in their walled garden.

Anonymous, 17 Dec 2020Only on Windows 10? And only between Windows and Android? ... moreMake sense for Microsoft. I use Edge on Windows and on Android. It works fine.
People on Windows XP, 7, 8 or 8.1 should update their systems. While for people on Macs, there are some restrictions that 🍎 puts in MacOS and iOS. Plus their software support on Windows is abysmal so who cares.

Still no global dark mode aka edge://flags Force Dark Mode for Web Contents. Will continue to use Chrome Canary / PiHole until Microsoft implement it. Whatt a shame.
