What kind of camera flash does it have? Same strobe flash from KU990 the 3G Viewty? Or does it now have xenon?

I have used the original Viewty and found it really easy to use. Would have held on to it but no WiFi let it down for me.
Excellent pix by the way.

who cares about the 2mm thickness difference...? i WANT THAT LENS COVER! stupid LG for making the lens cover an option. it's more a necessity for a camera...if it's selling point is the camera, shouldnt it have the same features as a normal camera? do u see most cameras without a lens cover? no...
but as for the 3G or 2G option, that's MORE of an option, cuz not everywhere supports 3G, but it's not like different places support a lens cover...

Well, you are correct and 1900MHz is most commonly used in America. Some companies use 850MHz but mostly for rural areas as this band has better reach. The other bands 900 and 1800 are used in other counties and come very handy if you ever get caught traveling.

Totally agree and LG should stick to Asian and European markets as we dont need them here in America. I am happy with my Nokia and Sony phones. Besides I never understood why all the companies dont make quads.........

Haha so lg was right all along... the protective lens would have made the viewty thicker. This version is 16mm and the ku990 model is 14mm. But i know alot of people wanted the protective lens so now they have that option. I own the ku990 model, and really i see no need for the protection, but its your choice :)

I think it's good that they've finally included a camera lens cover.
Kinda makes you wonder why the KU990 didn't have it also...surely there was room?
