The lack of MicroSD card slot is actually the reason I'll give up on purchasing the S21 Ultra if Samsung really launch such an expensive and "high-tech" phone w/o larger storage capabilities. It's an absurd, considering the quality (and size of the files) of media these days.

The ca... moreWhy you fussing about case design ? I'm sure Samsung themselves would have already worked out a case designed for this device .
I mean it's flush around the sides , only up on the backside.
So it wouldn't be that difficult to design something visually pleasing while still being robust and protective enough .

SashaV, 18 Dec 2020I can consider my self as Samsung fan and mobile fan in gen... morePlus keep in mind 1400 for 2/3 years software support google pixel phones gets at maximum 3 years software support and it from Google itself meanwhile Samsung is just 3 years if you're extremely lucky then ni more support and by the time pass the phone will be trash because most of the apps will not be able to run in old devices meanwhile in apple you get 5 years software support (5 ios versions) and 1 year security updates in total 6 years and add 2 more years because that's the time phone will be trash because of old software so in total 8 years and i am planning to buy a phone that satisfies all my needs for a long time so 1099$ for apple is making sense to me

samsung has lost its mind in designing something.
The case makers will have a big homework for that camera module.
The user also will have a FAT samsung phone in their pocket because the camera module and the 3rd party protective case.

That company from Israel that has worked with Oppo and Huawei, now belongs to Samsung.

Just calculated that the 240mm equivalent 10 megapixel camera shouldn't really have an advantage regarding details when compared with the 8 megapixel 240mm equivalent camera of the P40 Pro Plus. The reason is diffraction. Of course I took demosaicing into account (and didn't simply look at the Airy disc) by examining very roughly the impact of diffraction on Bayer cameras.
