I dont think so... :D Apple brought 64bit into phones chip, apple using much smarter strategy when inventin and utilizing their products, thats why apple will always be top. Qualcomm is good tech player/inventor ... but Qualcomm do just tech. not phone itself... so imagine apple power when they do all invenents / util. under one roof ... this concept will not be broken , since all others will understand this concept. It is like japan. All what is from japan is simple the best , because of approach , consiszency and so on. It is just my opinion, I do software util. so I know something about that. peace.

Usually, I see people comparing A14/13 and Qualcomm. But they used to forget that different OS runs over these chipsets (viz iOS and Android). This is not the apple-to-apple comparison. If you run android over A14, you may end up getting 800+ score in single-core whereas Qualcomm scored 1100+, and when you run iOS over Qualcomm chipsets, you may end up getting 2000+ score in single-core geekbench whereas apple just manages to score 1500+.
Moreover, people generally focus on geekbench scores only and don't bother about others like Antutu and AI TOPS, etc, this shows that they are less educated technically.
Just last few words, Qualcomm invents new technology but Apple usually copies technology smartly and presents the experience in the best possible manner to the customer which another OEM has failed to do. The tech which they failed to copy fully, they are paying royalty to deserved.
Because of Qualcomm invention, we have seen CDMA, 3G, 4G, and now 5G. Qualcomm is the prime inventor of all these technologies. Every person on this earth uses Qualcomm's invention even if you use an iPhone! You can't go away from it whatever you guys say against Qualcomm!

They're not even increasing megapixel count either, like grow up man, apple only looks good because they're phones look premium. when in reality, they're just rich, greedy bastards who copy features from android. like bruh the features in ios 13. We had those since the prehistoric era. the only thing good right now about them is the UI and Screen. i'll give them that. other than that the battery is crap.and they only started supporting 5g on their latest iphone. like, damn. overall, crappy and expensive.

... moreIt's not Apple's glass technology, it is from same company as Gorilla Glass.
Glass is Glass, it breaks.
The front might be more durable compared to last generation but gets easily scratched in the process just by having two phones on top of each other.
The back is regular glass and it breaks easily destroying any water resistance in the process.

Haha you cant repair it by your own you need to go their service shop for repair and it would cost hundreds. You can even buy new smartphone with it cost. At all Iphone is much faster with android smartphone due to its memory management. Iphone is great for gaming. But if you are seriously into games buy a gaming desktop or laptop or consoles not any phone. Simple as that.

I... moreMy point is you’ve highlighted a video that is over a year old, and a newer video shows the time on the iphone 11 pro max is now shorter than the ROG phone 3.
Also android 11 isn’t even out yet on the rog phone 3 so the times will be the exact same. Bet it sucks being on android and iphones get faster over time and you dont even get software updates. you are just stuck on old software for years.
think before you type next time and do your research on what operating systems are available.

It throttles in heavy games other than Genshin Impact as well.
Future games which use more power would thermal throttle as well.
Add to that pedestrian 60hz with ancient 120hz touch sampling rate and high latency screen, gaming is a big No No beyond 10 min after which A14 starts to thermal throttle in heavy games and screen starts dimming to reduce overheating the device.
They didn't bother implementing a simple cooling solution. Tells a lot how the company doesn't care about the user.

genshin impact on the iphone 12 pro max - not the iphone 12 mini you android fans like to test thermals.
iphone 12 pro max running genshin impact smooth as butter averaging 59fps out of 60 fps with high settings.
maybe in 2022 android can experience the same with high settings.

I suggest you go online and do research how both Apple and Qualcomm approach performance and why. There are tons of technical website that will explain you what each chip does and what it doesn't do and how they achieves it's peak, for how long and more importantly why. It will also explain why your iPhone 8 is sluggish today despite having 124 more points in some synthetic benchmark whose whole purpose is orientation in general performance not overall performance.
