Oppo Reno5 Pro+ confirmed to pack 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor

GN1 somehow is a return fire to IMX700 actually，but with normal RGGB instead of RYYB.
The IMX766 is much more smaller,only 1/1.5 in size

Noise control is very poor though and detail is mediocre. Shutter speed also needs improvement. The pricing of their flagships is the biggest problem though. They priced the Find x2 pro higher than Huawei flagships so it was never going to be a massive seller

          So? If the software can't handle the sensor correctly, and is limited as usual, then it won't make any difference.

            It's good to see that Sony will finally release an ISOCELL GN1 counterpart.

              Looks very nice. It will be not crazy price 1000€. Standard spec affordable price .

                Would love to see this black color with gold accents like Nokia 7+

                  Iphone makes people tanned, turf is dark cold green and cement is beige.
                  As wrong as Samsung.

                    Even though the sensor is ab excellent one, if their image processing is not good enough, they will have only great images, not an excellent one.

                    Oppo is great in colours, their colours are very close to Iphones photo and video colours. Oppo needs to work on its HDR, detail rendering, noise reduction, and beauty effect control. Since even beauty is off, the beauty mode is still noticeable.

                          Also dont know how the lens system works. Crop & upscale as Huawei does or pure 26/27mm FL at x1.

                            Can't wait for the eye watering price. Although they went with the SD 865 instead of the 888 so perhaps the price won't be that bad? Wouldn't hold my breath though. Oppo loves overpricing their stuff. Don't get me wrong, their phones are [generally] good, it's just the pricing that's wrong. Especially in Europe.
