Sure xiaomi and oppo have showed working prototypes way before zte axon 20 was launched, but this tech itself has privacy issues even if they're taking good pictures. There are literally a lot of ways already showed and used by different companies on how to achieve bezelless screen (actually still have a chin, but whatever). Making punch holes and notches is a stupid idea because we use the display of the phone and any obstructions in it just to trim the bezels is inherently stupid. Why not go back to thinnest possible bezel to house the front cam if they're not willing to do pop-up cam or flip cam or dual screen solutions?
Trying to achieve a bezelless screen is a minor cosmetic issue while obstruction of the screen we use is a much worse problem.

Use dual display, pop-up, flip cam, motorized back like find x, manual slider like mi mix 3 or the simplest of all, use actual bezels to house front cam.
The display is the main part of phone we all use and it's utter bs this era of notch/hole phones even exists.
A non-problem turned into a problem by these phone manufacturers. Welp.

C50, 23 Dec 2020What would you suggest, Mr. Einstein?According to my theory the phone is gonna be fast but not faster than speed of light or any phone with the same chip bcuz some phones has same chip but different speed and that bcuz of how well the phone is built and for a phone to be built well it needs to take all it's time without rushing, so I predict this new phone won't pass the speed of sound and will come with countless issues especially with the software which something xiaomi been known for messing up but hey it's just theory A PHONE THEORY thx for reading.

Just look at ZTE Axon 20.Even the under display camera on the Axon 20 is noticeable under some situations due to low resolution and the selfie quality is quite bad. Most brands like Samsung, Xiaomi and Oneplus are not using under display camera yet due to this 2 reasons.

My point is this is supposed to be xiaomi's flagship next year and there's literally already under display cam phone on the market (3 actually, but 2 are non-mainetream small local brands) and this tech has been under development for a few years now, so why still ise punch hole for next year's supposed flagship?
