There's No upside to either of these models, the vanilla is looking to take advantage of the OnePlus Nord's and Pixel 4a 5g's limited availability and the Pro is getting smacked by the Galaxy FE...Huawei is going backwards fast

I prefer slimmer and lighter mobiles when it's already have fast charging tech.

Heck, the battery capacity for the vanilla Nova 8 5G variant is actually smaller than the vanilla Nova 7 5G.

very expensive, better buy mi 10 youth edition. £299 you get 125mm 5x optical zoom, snapdragon 765,4150mah battery @22.5 watt. 64mp camera.

You know, I see a ton of hate over the Huawei Nova 8 Pro. However, I think it is a great deal considering the price, and if you compare it to other phones at this price, your getting a good deal. For example, the OnePlus 8T. Now, the OnePlus 8T does get 120Hz, but a flat display, which I extremely dislike, and I know a lot of people hate a curved display but in my opinion I really like it. Also, the Nova 8 Pro most likely has a better camera setup compared to the OnePlus 8T. And to add to that, the Nova 8 Pro is starting at around $600, but the OnePlus 8T is starting at $749 (in the USA at least). And no, I'm not a OnePlus hater, actually quite the opposite, I am actually typing on a OnePlus 7 Pro! But I think that the 8T isn't that good.
So overall, I think the Nova 8 Pro is pretty good! Not like the best, like I'm sure there will probably be other phones that could beat it out later in 2021, but for right now this is the best phone at $600. I recommend buying it!
