It was lacking in detail, dynamic range, sharpness and has inconsistent white balance and exposure. And worst of all, the night scape is trash. In extreme conditions, even the Oneplus 8 Pro nightscape loses to the Iphone 11 Pro with Night mode. Oneplus only captures for 2 seconds while others do 5 seconds or more. The nightscape captures very little light. Their overcontrasty look is weird too. Detail becomes a mush and painting like. Even the 48 Mp IMX 586 ultrawide, which Oneplus hyped a lot about, was trash in lowlight despite its large sensor size.

Oneplus 8 series was very dissapointing, especially the Oneplus 8. Trash cameras for an flagship device. Hope Oneplus don't be stupid. You guys become more an expensive, but give less things. If oneplus 9 only has an main + ultrawide + macro + depth cam, i am skipping the phone entirely. As no other $700 phone has that stupid useless camera system, that's supposed to be an $200 camera system, not $700.

The rebranding virus has reached one plus too. Shame.
Already Realme Xiaomi etc just rebrand and relaunch same phones with different names. Now one plus too. 😑

It would be great if OnePlus offers 6.7+ inches display in this class. A lot of phones in this class sit around 6.5 where 6.8 or 6.9 is rare.
