TUV certifies three batteries for Nokia phones, one with 5,050 mAh capacity (Nokia 7.3?)

29 December 2020
Or the 7.3 could have a 3,900 mAh battery instead - we don't have much to go on as there have been a long string of leaks and delays.

And after 2018, the only 6.2 and 7.2 have been released as mid-rangers, and 7.2 literally shared 7 Plus' SoC while 6.2 had same SoC as 2017's 6.1 Plus
Yes, 5.3 and 5.4 are there. But again, they come in lower mid-range category.
The flagship they launched was 9 PureView, which failed miserably with extremely buggy app, worst image processing speed, and not-so-useful camera setup. Not to forget the year old SoC it was equipped with.

And they literally released Nokia 3.2 and 4.2 with SD429 and SD439. I mean, there is practically no differences between the two. Also, the 1-series and the newer C-series cater the same audience. And 5 and 6 series are also similar to a huge extent. Then, 7 and 8 are also useless.
Basically, they lack funds. Still they aren't delivering flagships which will bring in more money than these budget phones combined. Similar is the situation with mid-ranger.
And with entry level, they are doing what Chinese OEMs are doing with mid-range, i.e, flooding

IMO, discontinuing either of 1 or C series, 3 or 4 series, 5 or 6 series, 7 or 8 series won't decrease its market share and would help save then more to invest in better quality parts.

I do agree HMD makes some problem that doesn't suit for the phone. but at least they make some on Par for phones. (except luxury brands). and they do not fail to deliver some quality phones tbh, unlike Microsoft (they also build quality phones). and HMD gets some achievement even tho is a small company. they get 2 years in 1st for security patches, 1st on most trusted phone (20 phones) which included software, performance, durability. and become the holder of 5G replacing Huawei in networks. I believe HMD does a pleasant job. they can improve slowly step by step. they're trying their best. just like every other brand. they have their own road to build. to achieve different.
and about no existence of android 11 in phones, I know android 11 exists but 10 is still good right? patience my dude, they will arrive. in this existence, some people are still stuck with older android and never experienced newer android b4. but soon, I believe they will taste it.

As you said, Chinese are bang for bucks, riddled with heavy UI, Apple has most stable and fluid OS, Samsung and Sony have great cameras. Just tell me a similar "positive" aspect of HMD (that's not Nokia, anyways).

However, the problem with them are way too much. The only positive aspect of Nokia was regular, very regular updates. But again, those updates never addressed bugs. They were only security patches. And they are losing the game in that "regular updates" department recently with no phones currently on Android 11.

SShreyas, 01 Jan 2021Just head towards comment section of Nokia 6.1 Plus. You wi... morewhat I want to know is from your brother perspective. not others. yeah, I saw some of their comment got bad reviews and some others got good reviews. even with bad reviews, I found some of them happy again after being fixed again. just like I said, it's about treating ur phone like a thing u love or used it like a condom. Nokia still a good phone to use. not saying Nokia the best like their prime, but I still believe they still have their touch for build. and I'm not an idiot to say that. while ur brother using an MI9 as you said for 5 years, I can assure you that he is a good user. and if you mad just because you wasted on Nokias, why not find happiness instead of hate? yeah, I wasted half of thousand dollars for 2 phones Xiaomi's that for me is suck dicks. but I only say to them that they good on performance, cheap, but also sucks on durability and software which I don't mad at it. Infinix also sucks even worse IMO. until I don't trust most of Chinese Phones anymore.
I admit that all phone brands great, but everyone has their weak point. I don't judge you to hate Nokia because idk how long you will hate it. but appreciate them. don't be mad just because ur taste doesn't exist in there. everyone has their taste in likes and everyone should respect the opinion. find what you like bud. don't spread hate there are many brands that exist, maybe suit ur taste. if I going, to be honest, what the minus for Nokia is the price. but mostly I appreciate them for their decent builds and design. nobody is PERFECT, same as other brands. I'm just amazed by all brands creativity and hard work to build.

Almost all members of my family owe nokia and none has problems, go figure. Yet comes nobody and goes bash mode. Just because some people have problems (and one does not have to search deep to find problems in every device from samsung to apple, excluding chinaware as they are a problem wihin them selves), does not mean hmd as a brand is crapp. If you had a problem, tough i highly doubt you owe a nokia device, it does not mean everybody has it, so get over it, you ain't the only one in existance.

You will find many "rough" users over there, who have got their ports changed even more than thrice but still the problem persists. Similarly, many more hard core gamers will be there who'd tell you that phone restarts while surfing the internet on Chrome with no background app deliberately opened. For camera app, check the Nokia forums regarding the same

As far as my brother is concerned, he is a guy who has managed to use his M9+ from 2015 till date without any problem. So, I don't think the problem lies his handling of the device.
Now for your question as to why I am mad. I have WASTED my money on a Nokia which has serious design issues, apart from insane pricing policy, cheap hardware and worst software experience.

so what the problem with every phone? the person who cares like a loving a pet or using it like a condom. im not mad btw, so we can chill.

I'm here telling the truth from a legit one-year experience. ofc, not every Nokias phone was good enough to satisfy you or everyone, but they do deliver some good phones, or at least. and also I'm not a really fanboy like fanboying shit, but I still admire Nokia is good even tho their prime has passed. don't trust my review or either my opinion? fine, I don't mind

My brother's 6.1 Plus has got its port changed THRICE, restarts automatically at least 3-4 times a day, is unable to use flash from the Nokia's camera app while no third party is able to capture photos.

The "best" part? Nokia doesn't even allow bootloader unlocking. For third party, I have to spend some amount.

Don't say "I have no issues" and all. Learn to criticize the wrong and stop being a fanboy.

idk if the ppl being smartass for complaining this phone is going to be suck, the one who completely use it once and then doesn't trust it anymore. it's not even announced it officially swear toxic in these ppl. don't remind the bad one, find the good one. you think the next upgrade will worsen? no, and yes but they try to make it good as possible like every brand does. unlike these ppl who complain like even can make a phone

They won't stop doing bad design elements. They won't give new features.
Instead they will give bottom bezel which serves no purpose. They will give 2 extra cameras one depth sensor and one macro which is again just waste of money. They will not give latest processors if not in all phones. They won't stop asking you premium price for these mediocre features.

At least they can move that bottom bezel to top and place the FF camera inside it to make the display look clean.
