              So many try to over brighten the image on the auto setting, and nightmode often makes this even worse. It's not necessary. Aiming to reproduce a photo as similar to the actual lighting conditions, both amount and color temperature, is the ideal. Then use the combination of light input and processing to achieve the most accurate result possible with the hardware available.

              BTW, DSLRs are dead and gone. Mirrorless are the current, and the future.

                        They removed it starting with MI 10 and only put telephoto on pro version for much higher price.

But at least in Moto's case it was due to lack of space due to the thinnes of said device.
                                        I believe some not-so-well-known Chinese brand was ahead of them as well.

                                        The EU has been pushing for one charging port standard for phones/smartphones for over a decade, which Apple still ignores with their iphones and -pads, with the purpose being to not having to include charging bricks, nor cables, in the box for the sake of the environment.
