[deleted post]I literally used Sennheiser and AKG earphones myself you duma** and as soon as you introduced any sort of bass input (bassy music or games) they just went into corrupted mess like you were overdriving them with +10dB volume gain or something. AirPods 2, even if there are some sort of imaginary losses because of BT, they can at least reproduce entire frequency range without any issues or corruptions.
Also you clueless jokers think I'm talking about Sennheiser and AKG HEADphones. Headphones and earphones are NOT the same thing. Headphones go over your ears, earphones go into your ears. I was using EARphones. And granted, they were the most expensive ones from those companies one could buy that didn't have silicone tips because I hate those. But that clearly isn't an issue given AirPods 2 don't have silicone tips either and can reproduce bass just fine.

Literally every single vendor you look, they make 50 versions of earphones with idiotic silicone tips that some of us just can't stand. Like at all. Also I've had a lot of higher end wired earphones from AKG and Sennheiser and none of them sounded as good as AirPods 2. Especially in bass department which was always basically non existent, making them useless for gaming. And if I tried artificially adding it with EQ or other features it was just total trash. I use AirPods 2 regularly for gaming on Windows PC and they sound really good.

Like it matters what version of BT is used... He also states they don't have touch controls and ANC. Which is just straight up utter BS. So what if they don't use usually too sensitive touch controls. They use the stem "squeeze" control. Also it has ANC and it has been highly praised by many reviewers, particularly for not inducing pressure sensation within ear. Including "random Youtuber" Linus with um, I don't know, almost 13 million subscribers. Totally random nobody, surely. And then I'm the fanboy for not pissing on Apple like he is. Apparently disproving false and BS claims makes you a fanboy somehow. Only on GSM Arena. Guess what, it doesn't. He's also known to constantly piss on Apple with nonsense claims and to prove his totally not biased view you just have to look at his avatar to sort of put a cherry on top of all his BS claims.

Wouldn't this all come down to user preference?
I've tried listened to Beats pods, air pods, Galaxy Buds, and various other Sony, Senheisser... models. And I gotta say that the air pods lose out big time for me. They just don't hit the right notes. Sony's were by far the best sound and a lot less money. They all have distinct sounds.
TBh, the best wireless buds I've had I bought off a guy on the street for $5. They have the Beats 'b' logo but I'm sure they're not authentic and they sound far better than anything else (to me). The only downside is they lose bluetooth connection randomly.
Air Pods are definitely overrated and overpriced, like the rest of apple products.
