And I am 100% sure that some companies will continue to ship chargers in the box for some of their models, just to attract clients somehow. And I will keep buying those phones. Especially when the phones will be capable of 65W charger speeds for example.

Oh god. I thought flagships have completed package due to the price. Well, I f they really need to save the environment better to release and constantly support few phones rather than pumping different variants here and there wich will be obsolete when the new shiny shiny thingamajig comes out.

The Headphone jack is important for most of the people. Almost all mid-range & low-end phones still have it. This trend began slowly after Apple did it and other brands copied it mostly in their flagships.
"...cartoonish, childish, laggy and bad software optimization" add Ads and bad RAM management (killing apps) and you described MIUI.

whatever we are seeing in the smartphone trend is a result of lack of innovation. Apple realized this and decided to lie to the consumers. Unfortunately samsung has used the same to initiate their downfall. Seriously, even getting a type C charger that supports more than 25 watts in some countries is a hassle. And if they remove the charger then they must be stopped from advertising those charging speeds because type C chargers are not consistent with every phone when charging.

Headphone jacks aren't that important, and that's been standard now. MIUI is way better than the laggy and heavy resourced One UI. I don't mind copying someone's platform, as long as it is an good one. It is way better than One UI cartoonish, childish, laggy and bad software optimization

Samsung still package their phones in a lot of throw away plastic and have a lot of throw away paperwork in their oversized boxes which no one ever reads.

I kind of appreciate this environmental friendliness. It's great. Fewer accessories, fewer paperwork, smaller boxes, fewer tress and forests cut. All great.
But why don't these people apply the same principles when designing a gadget? User replaceable batteries, expandable memory, slightly thicker, repairable devices held together with screws rather than glue, devices that can repaired and reused for long, rather than unrepairable disposable ones.
The phones itself are an environmental hazard. They are going to save ice caps and polar bears by not providing a charger now, eh?

Apple started the trend, but the rest would have done it no matter what. The point of a universal port is to not need other ports. I do not know why is it hard for many people to get that.
It is good that the jack died. It's bad that others delayed it a bit making it seem that Apple killed it. It needed killing forms solid year or two before its actual cut.
Same with chargers , everybody keeps the old one. It is an irrelevant feature at this point. I'd prefer if it was in, but if not ... whatever.
Weird that nobody talks about the death of the replaceable battery. You know the one thing that companies *actually* shafted the user. It basically accelerated the cycle of phones to 2 (from 4) years. Boosted the sales all the while giving nothing back to the end user (it is/was possible to waterproof a phone w replaceable battery).

And at the same time Oppo phones and other chinese brands come with charger, headset, glass protector, phone case, and usually some freebie like memory card, bluetooth speaker or wireless headset...for much cheaper. Selling like hotcakes !
