[deleted post]Personally bought one and sent it back as the images were worse than the Redmi k30 5g with imx686. They have plenty of experience with the hmx sensor which has 4 in 1 Pixel binning but not yet with the 9 in 1 Pixel binning on HM2. I bought one on release in China though so maybe they have improved it with updates. Initial software was very poor. The exposure was reasonably good but the pics were so blotchy indoors if you did any kind of crop at all and artifacts were also bad. The shutter speed for the 12mp binned shots was also slow relative to the k30 5g. Based on initial software it was a significant downgrade camera wise from the k30 5g

Am getting bored of these 108mp cam from xiaomi... I mean how many models they made with this lens... and also the named "ultra"... how many ultra phone is enough... you could have 1 or 2 ultra for flagship but not everything... come on...

What does "customised by our India product team" invlove...?! Do Bollywood songs start blasting everytime the phone rings...?! Nobody wants a Desi customised phone of any sort... We have Micromax and some other unheard of companies for those sort of things... Rather just use a global version that the rest of the world uses...

I bought a Redmi note 9 pro 5g which is the Chinese version of this and returned it. Maybe it's just the camera processing wasn't very mature though as it's Xiaomi's first attempt with a nonacell processor. Will probably improve with updates
