crious, 15 Jan 2021wonder why oppo so obsessed with 720g Because the business rule: Buy single kind in bulk quantity in is much cheaper than buy more than one kind in less quantity, in this case the chipset
Buy 720G in huge quantities (let's count BBK Group purchases in bulk quantity for 4 big OEM Oneplus Vivo Oppo Realme) gives they much cheaper price than other OEM, so the theory is they gained more margins than other OEM who buy more than 1 kind of chipset in less quantity
Also, buying newer chipset series without any major differences only waste money, in this case 732G doesn't really different than 720G in terms of benchmark, chip based architecture, and Adreno which only different 1 digit,
all OEM know that snapdragon also mediatek are not developing 4G in serious way, they are now more serious developing 5G, which makes Dimensity800U is performs higher than 720G, and 778G has better performance and newer Adreno 642 series than other chipset that stuck with adreno 618 619 620, this series number are never wrong

On one side BBK launches cheap phones with realme and on other side overpriced phones with oppo brand with same processor,slight less overpriced with vivo and premium standard flagship type with oneplus with better UI but worse camera

If only we could get it in Europe for 300/350 Euros...
But knowing Oppo, they'll slap a 600 euro price tag on it -_-
