Usually only smaller newcommers/underdogs, float well on word of mouth. Not well established ones as LG.

LG needs to work on their marketing strategy.They have to do something similar to what samsung did with their sgs3. They need to be allover the tv,newspaper, become official sponsor of some major sporting activity which whole world will watch and most importanty must have reasonable price for being the phone with best specs. Just let the world know what you got!!!. We are waiting

fried chicken, 27 Aug 2012ugly phoneMore like ugly photo taken of the phone. With rubbish flas and everything. Any phone/product can have good and bad photos taken of them.
Front is clean and nice, perhaps the battery door is not to everyones liking, but today it's also very common to either replace the battery door, or just use a protective back cover, or housing, in ones preferred color and/or material.
Suspecting there's a lot of sammy fanboys ranting comments like these, I'd like to point out that not one - not a single one - of the sammy owners I know (including myself as a previous one), use the SIII or SIII without a custom back cover, some also full housing. iphone owners are not any better.

RG, 26 Aug 2012Yeah, killer specs, but I bet year after release this devic... moreyes u r ryt... the brand value of samsung is much higher than lg n tats the reason y lg doesnt have much sales compared to samsung even they r first in bringing the tech lyk the dual core n 3D phones were first brought up by lg but their sales were very poor wen compared to samsung's phones... even if htc releases the phone with same specs, it will outsell thz lg phone n m sure they will in couple of months... samsung z goin to release a phone wid exynos 5 chip n thats goin to smash everyone i guess....

When people say dual is enough then quad is definitely better. Keeo it up LG u might be able to sell more than samsung in the future.

this implies that mobile phone price will decrease, because of latest powerful hardwares.Cant wait to have a cheap dual core phone ^^. But at this point in time dual core is powerful enough to run anything. Quadcore is too much.
