This does not work as expected. Only if you have an image full screen.

- OnePlus users used to say QHD was waste of battery. Since OP7 series, they brag about having QHD.
- Samsung users until 2017 said stereo speaker were useless, because tiny speakers of cellphones should not be used instead of earphones. Now they brag about having stereo + Dolby Atmos + tuned by Harman.
To me stuff like Qi charging, over 25W charging, ultra wide angle cam have no used to me. Gonna still think same if my next phone have all this.
Why do ppl label something gimmick or essential according who is using instead of what it is for?
If Apple decides to use QHD, those who said QHD was too much are going to celebrate.
If Samsung decides to use 4K, those who said it is waste, gonna celebrate as well.

Mi 10 ultra is apparently the gold standard of phones.
So who is saying iPhones have weak battery life now?
To be frankly honest, HRR is important, but the difference between QHD and FHD is basically the difference between QHD and 4K.
If you were to look at the mi 11, the only perks between it and the iPhone 12(priced at $800) are the HRR and fast charging. Maybe faster gaming performance.
Fast charging is bad for the battery anyways, and the mi 11 doesn't have the graphene piece and the split battery cell that the mi 10 ultra has.

Display mate and 99% of review sites that test displays are trash! (especially for smartphones)
An A+ rating means virtually nothing
Dxomark has arguably the best display testing categories
Displaymate just test visual performance and like almost every other display review all they do is boiled down to is "screen very bright" "screen color accurate"
What about motion? Are there any drop frames??? And for christ sake smartphone displays are interactive and you don't even test TOUCH ACCURACY???
I remember on plus getting that nice A+ then being plagued by tint and burn in issues

Put them side by side, the ... moreNobody was bashing QHD anyway, but now that Xiaomi once again makes a QHD flagship phone, the big brands are now in bigger trouble.
To think that a new Xiaomi flagship phone with the latest Snapdragon flagship processor now has a flagship level display for just under $700 is a statement on how much people are overspending for going with a phone that has a fruit on the back.
Literally the others are still offering 1080p 60Hz for $800 to $1000 in 2020 (now 2021). How cool is that?
If it weren't for Xiaomi doing things like this, perhaps we would still be paying $400 for something like a Galaxy A30 today, and the $1000 iPhones with no HRR yet still weak battery life would still be a good value proposition for us.

So if 3x is enough for you then buy it, if not wait 1-2 months for Mi11 Pro version which will have improved camera.

Tempted to buy this phone I mean real tempted with 2k 120Hz display and respectable 4600mAH battery.
I thought they would stick with 1080p 120Hz or 2k 90hz display, but they smacked it with 2k and 120Hz,this is the phone I have alwyas been waiting for.
But unfortunately lacks a persicope camera.
Don't don't tell me to use a digital camera, I already have one,but paying 700€ and still no periscope is huge let down.

Good. Nice to see that Xiaomi actually taking it seriously to filled Huawei's plc. N Huawei nvr focused on displays that's why always ran behind d compitition in dat department. Xiaomi is improving it's UI, cameras, charging tech, speakers n now displays too.
