He was claiming console can equal to high end pc. And that's not true. It only happened once a decade when new generation come out that the consoles come close but soon loose again.
We where never discussing price. In fact you are right the price of graphics cards is more than the whole console. But that's not the point.
Its like comparing Porsche and Golf RS (or whatever would they call it). Both are fast and Porsche is min 5x the price but you don't say Golf is same good or even better.

What I meant was atleast you can carry it to different places if you travel a lot unlike desktops. If you want a portable device then you have to use a Nintendo switch or do mobile gaming. Other streaming platforms are also available nowadays but they are not available in my country atleast.

I have a gaming PC and PS4 and constantly travel between 2 cities. I always carry my PS4 in my backpack or luggage bag while travelling by car / bus / train. Can't say the same about my desktop PC. Although PS5 is bigger than PS4, its width is still not huge. I can still see myself carrying PS5 with me wherever I go (assuming I am lucky enough to get it).
Having said that, if you have the money and travel less frequently then building a gaming PC is a better option.

How the hell can Sony have a launch in India when the uv can't even deliver units enough to country of Norways size.. Sounds to me as they are making a shortage on purpose to create a feeling of exclusiveness to get one.
