Work in the Poco F3 Pro instead, that's what we want:
Snappy 888
8GB ram LPDDR5
128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage
Amoled 120Hz
Stereo speakers
Price: 500

The only reason pocophone f1 was a hit was because it had flagship grade specs except for the ips lcd screen (which is good enough, iphones still had ips lcd) and lack of water resistance for a price much cheaper than one plus.
It also had a memory card slot and a headphone jack.
Unless the f2 has these three: headphone jack, memory card slot and snapdragon 888, it wouldn't get the same response that pocophone f1 got.
Redmi k40 (or pro) is coming with 888. So poco having a 7xxx series would do no good.

Are they joking?
The main goal of the F1 was to offer a high end SoC and performances for a low price by removing or reducing down to the essential only, meaning a SINGLE main camera and a depth (probably just a regular ultra cheap camera and IA to make up basic depth data which is probably the only phone where a 5Mp sensor is acceptable), just a regular one, not an expensive/high end or anything.
They even took an LCD for keeping a the price low.
And despite IR face recognition and a notch (notches and punch holes displays are more expensive to produce) they successfully made a high performance phone for a lower price than many on the mid-rangers of that time.
Going quad camera and mid-range SoC and high refresh rate OLED (which is quite expensive) is NOT the Poco F1 legacy.
If anything it should have a Snapdragon 865+875/888 or Exynos 1080 (haters gonna hate but it is going to be a really good one), UFS 3.1, LPDDR5, à 12Mp Wide and a 12 or 20 MP Ultra-Wide (like the Meizu 16 series whose 12Mp + 20Mp is available for just a bit more than 10$) and when one shoot the other is used for depth.
And while not forgetting a good cooling, the 3.5mm Jack, NFC (which cost nothing), a Meizu 16/Nubia Red Magic like thin bezel and either a 90Hz/120Hz LCD or a 60Hz/90Hz max OLED.

Doesn't do justice to Poco F2 if they haven't added 855 or 855+. They've messed it up. If nothing works they could have added a 765G/750 atleast. But 732 is a huge massive downgrade from Poco F1.

Calls it f2, puts low end hardware in it.! Nah, f1 will still smoke this one. 4g+ is still faster and more stable than 5g in most of the world.

Poco F1 had flagship processor of that time i.e., SD845, Poco F2 should have atleast 865 or upcoming successor of 765G i.e., 775 not 732G.

Let's Hope indian version gets Battery Bump like X3 if they plan to drop NFC and the price is kept reasonable and includes Stereo Speakers.

Just do an Poco X3 with :
1. Snapdragon 888/865+
2. 5G
3. Better software
4. Better cameras output (configuration could be the same)
5. Different design
6. Price lower than $400
Or just do an Mi 10T with :
1. More base storage
2. Expandable storage
3. Headphone jack
4. Ip53 splash proof (Poco X3 has it)
5. Different design
6. Better camera software
7. Use the same chip and cooling, or maybe add the Snapdragon 888

Woah if the rumoured spec sheet becomes true, the Poco F2 is very confusing. Similar to Poco X3 which go for a balanced phone at a really good price, but the OG Poco F1 Pack a Flagship Chipset for Lowest amount of Money spent with ok features.

If it's any chip besides sd865/865+/888, this is a big joke. Poco f1's appeal was the flagship chip at a low price with cost cutting done in other aspects. Even using sd765 is a joke because f2 pro already uses sd 865. Maybe use sd855/855+ for this f2 as the f1 used sd845.

Closest thing to Poco F2 would be, at least in my opinion, Mi 10T with Poco x3 camera setup to cut cost.
Or Poco x3 with sd 865.
I own both F1 and X3 so the F series is something which i can not imagine with lower end hardware.
