I have owned several Mi and Redmi phones over the years and never encountered the things you said. Redmi 8A was offered with 12 months international warranty, not 24 months. Only certain models like Redmi Note 7 and Mi 10T Pro come with 24 months warranty. It's one thing to dislike Chinese phones, but to tell a false story like you are doing is really low.

Do people know that this brand although offers what we might consider good value for money can not do a back up as their program to back up has been put on hold for 4 years already as it does not work.
Bought two Redmi 8A phones and experienced dropping of calls, switching on and off and to top it all one of them died completely.
When enquiring about the warranty guest what from 24 months they changed to 12 months.
Stick to the brands you know and they are proven. Leave Chinese rubbish

Good Marketing Technique... I have MI Phone, my next phone would be nokia base version which I will buy for less than 2000 INR. Not interested anymore in all these nonsense gadgets.
