Although the Pixel 4 and 4 XL featured this hardware, it didn’t return on the Pixel 5.

    Finally, instead of getting my cooking hands on the screen I can just gesture the swipe.

      Why does it even need Soli and the useless radar stuff for :
      1. Face unlock
      2. Showing notifications when only you are looking and when other person aren't looking
      3. Awareness
      4. Gestures

      Even Huawei could do so without those fancy hardwares, Huawei could do it just with their 3D depth camera. They could do :
      1. Gestures
      2. Eyes On Display (Awareness)
      3. Showing notifications when only you are lookung and hiding it when other people sees yours
      4. 3D secure face unlock that works in every conditions except backlight
