Huawei was on course to overtake Sam... moreDoesn't matter who is in the first place, what matters is that no company should have more than 15% market share. In this way you encourage competition and growth. The decline of Huawei is not good news, hopefully other companies will emerge to take some of their market share. Hopefully not going to Samsung or Apple.
That is one of the reason I am not buying Samsung and Apple phones anymore. If they will become even more powerful, then they will dictate the market even more. So, less innovation, bigger prices and just a bad experience in the end.
They are already doing this (dictating the market) and sadly people accept it, because they continue to buy their products, on the pretext that there are no other trustworthy companies. But, there are other companies, people just need to have more faith in them and encourage competition.

Huawei was the only company whose flagships didn't have any display issues like green tint, black crush etc., No autofocus issues, superfast charging speeds n power adaptor was der in d box unlike other flagships which supports 45w but only 25w brick in d box n some loosers even don't have chargers, no notch but still face ID n fast reliable fingerprint scanner together, they even didn't went with lot only single punch hole n typical decade old sensor. They brought wide angle selfie cam. Two seperate stereo speakers. N it's both flagships had different design approach n color options too.

Reason is mostly Huawei. They sold last year 70 million phones less than in 2019.
