They should have kept the 4x optical zoom with large imx 586 sensor and added a 10x telephoto. No need for 3x telephoto.
3x zoom at 12Mp can be achieved by the 108mp camera.

Price this starting at $600-650 for the downgraded resolution, materials and cameras and you could have a hit in your hands. You could now embarass the android mascot $700 pixel 5 with its not flagship chip and recycled cameras because you have also match the 3 year software update promise. Come on samsung, be the hero.

The nearer the announcement the more it looks like it's everything about Ultra and that S20/+ is like for desperate and "poor" buyers who are allowed to get overpriced similarly named model...
