Exactly Jenny. Apple went after Samsung because 1/ they have money to pay a penalty. 2/ They are taking Apple market share with a better range of products. 3/ Apple seem protected by the US Govt. 4/ Lets wait for the iPhone 5, maybe they have copied Samsung, because the Galaxy III is superior in every way to the iPhony 4S.

Apple plays dirty. Apple's motto is if you can't beat them, sue them. They take advantage of everything. They don't mind playing dirty as long as they earn.
If their so obsessed with patent, why they never sue ChinaPhones imitating Iphone? China Phones completely imitated iphone and even use the brand iphone and copy even the software.
They just use patent as a excuse to ban Samsung phones and make money without doing a thing.

Apple is afried of samsung. They know samsung will eat their whole market share. Many companies are using android, multy touch screens, bar phones etc..then , why Apple is only focusing on samsung.. Just one reason...Samsung is the no 1 brand..
Who need useless apple i phone..
no bluetooth file transfer
no Memory card slot
non removable battery
complicated i tunes
over all a metal piece for the cost of a two wheeler...
Samsung is one of the brands who always hear the feedbacks of their customers and make proper products.
Why apple is doing all these....remember one thing....
Mobile phone was first introduced by motorola...and they are now under the control of Google (the developer of android)....
So it is the time to change the decisions for Apple..
One more thing.....this is not the era or imperialism ... So count down started for the end of APPLE......
You are not the same Apple that was hit on the head of Sir Issec Nution....You are just an America apple....which flowers in seasons...

US government should review the current patent filing criteria and make a drastic change to prevent some companies such as Apple to take advantage over its competitors.

A very sad day for business. This action will set a bad precedent and in my well considered opinion will in the long run cost Apple a lot more than the court victory it currently enjoys. Since the judgement was passed, a lot of apathy has been manifested over Apple. I see a case of misfiring to happen for Apple.

this banning only proves that Apple does not only after the money and the competition, but rather, the value.
their banning old devices (well, not that old but in tech terms, yes) and not the latest flagships. why? cause the competition is not the priority of the lawsuit.
if it's not, then why won't Apple target the latest samsung devices instead most of the old ones?

Apple sued Samsung because they r threatened by them... simple
As that.... and so they again should be. Unfortunately apple is a massive company that can and has pulled it off..ironic thing is and take note apple fanboys is Samsung supplies apple with a large amount of techtronics for there devices... go figure

Thinks that Apple need to give. Oh yes we build a phone with a screen and now no ones can have it. Lets Take Samsung to Court in our bank Yard, what a surprise they won. Wounder what would happen if Samsung took Apple to Court in there bank Yard. Sick of seen Apple b***h about everything, why build a phone that is better than Samsung and dont rip people off the price

My gf has 3gs and I have galaxy S. I shall say that though I have constant chance to use both, iphone never appeared to me as a better device nor its OS. In fact what we saw is that galaxy s is better device and android is as smooth as iOS and you can do things that you cannot do with the 3gs. With their ads apple blinds people and makes them feel that they are special. Well the same thing happens when you go to more expensive bar.. but you drink the same beer.
