LTPO is more power efficient than LTPS, but also more expensive, so it will be a premium feature on the Pro models.

A very well move by this company if its for real on iPhone 13. They will make more profit margin again for theyre best Phone yet... Lol is first 120hz screen support will be brag.

Wily2021, 06 Jan 2021Exactly, Apple is having record iPhone sales currently and ... moreI agree Iphone is still superior to any flagship android phones... Faster Chipset, better camera, better face unlock, and better screen in one package. I disagree with people saying iPhones are just for show off or only a status symbol because obviously it has great technology. Android is only good for its budget phones only because apple doesn't make budget phones. There are older iPhones that are still selling in my country like Iphone 6s/7 but I don't consider them as superior over latest Android budget phones. Because they have older tech i.e. Bluetooth, Camera, Design. For me Android and iPhone are great on it's own. 🙂

Gonna have some made up name like "Ultra Clear Retina Promotion Display XDR" so that they can present it as their innovation lmao.

So the first android phone with high refresh rate display was launched back in 2016 and thes first iphone with HRR will be in 2021 and crapple's still present it in the way of a whole new technology developed by it😂😂

They will use LTPO to save 5-15% of battery then the next iPhone will have a smaller battery capacity than the 12 series again because of this... smaller battery capacity, the same result -- it's LTPO anyway... Yeah, burn some more cash of your customers.

For Each supplier, there are two grades of panel: Good & Bad.

In terms of panel quality and likelihood for not have a green tint:
Samsung Good > LG Good > Samsung Bad > LG Bad.

                      Detailed grading of different panels:

Prefix G9N: Samsung Good Grade panel (Very low chance of being a bad panel).
Prefix G9P: Samsung Poor Grade Panel (Moderate chance of being a bad panel).
Prefix GVC: LG Good Grade Panel (Moderate chance of being a bad panel).
Prefix GH: LG Poor Grade Panel (High chance of being a bad panel).

It's basically a lucky draw for users.
Conclusions: Poor Quality control from a Tech Giant like Apple.

Meanwhile, every other flagship this year has both 5g and 120hz and everything apart from Exynos 990 is giving great battery life with 120hz.
A lot of these flagships are cheaper than the iPhone.

"Apple allegedly wanted to include both 5G and 120 Hz in the iPhone 12 generation but had the power budget for only one and it went with next-gen connectivity. LTPO will allow the display to run at 120 Hz without killing the battery."

I doubt it, Apple will somehow put in an even smaller battery in order to cut costs so the battery will remain the same or worse than before.
