This is just something droidboys will never understand, because they don't have any idea what polished means and then they wonder why so many talk about iOS widgets while no-one talks about Android widgets and never been. Android widgets never been a thing among regular users which most users are.

The earlier times were great, there's lots of Android flagships which can compete with iphone at a lower price eg. Oneplus 5, Mi 6, Pixel 1st gen , Huawei Mate 20 pro and many more but overtime, it feels like Android is getting left out. (Oneplus: buggy os, Xiaomi: not available in the US, Huawei: no google service, Samsung: left out in chipset, camera and innovation, Google: sells a mid-range device at a high pricepoint) and most of them killed the SD card and 3.5mm port jack as well.

Android widgets are mostly poorly done, no unified experience and just not polished and bad looking, just like android overall and their apps.

            No wonder android widgets never really take off. I mean android have had them for many many years and yet almost no-one have any other widget than stock ones (clock/google search) in their phones. Droidboys knows this and it just makes them very salty because they know Apple users are already using widgets lot more than android users. I think iOS14 widgets are also reason why there's so many android switchers now with iPhone 12.

The Apple ones are just too loyal and too blinded by their love for the brand. When this happens, of course everything Apple releases is considered automatically perfect or at least better than anything else on the market.
              And it will always be the same. Up until some time ago, iphone users said that having chargers above 5W-10W will damage your battery (because their iphones were not capable of more). Now when Apple is starting to get on board the fast charging, they say is no longer a problem (maybe Apple magically reinvented physics who knows, lol).
              The same is with 60hz refresh rate. Now every iphone user is saying that there is no need for 90hz or 120hz and that they can't see any difference between 60hz or 120hz. I am expecting in 1-2 years when Apple will release a 120hz iphone, that all these fanboys will start praising high refresh rate displays and say how 60hz is useless and bad. Lol.
              But in a way I am glad that the Apple fanboys exist. Is like watching memes or funny videos on youtube. Their comments, suggestion and praising of Apple products is always welcomed with a good laugh.

                        Shameless iBoyzz have been repeating same talking points since a decade.

                        At first they were like Nobody uses widgets, now they say widgets are better... Lol.
                        Apple is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to innovation in the smartphone segment since they know they can refuse to give their users anything new and they'll accept it like a little Sl^ve.

                                  In the many years Android had widgets, it didn't really change or improved. Its functionality and purpose did not improve the user experience much either.

                                  I don't care for it , but iOS implementation just looks way cleaner and truly functional. Smart & stackable widgets, i wonder why Android never thought of those?

But widgets and app library are bad implemented in I... moreno i think they are very well implemented into iOS 14, everything feels super fast and smooth, even at 60hz. it all works superb due to its app optimization in the widgets. i tried this on my dad's 11 pro max. i think the widgets are better than the android widgets with the Stacking widgets and how it adapts to the time of day...
