You are fool if you think average Android users know these sites exist? You know that we tech users are in really really small minority and smartphones and all brands are mainly bought by regular users? Only difference here is that Apple users usually have better income, which is why they buy iPhone instead Android phone because they don’t need to settle. those countries which have better income also have bigger shares in iPhone. This is propably one reason why droidboys are so bitter. It’s just a fact that we have more money as average and we spend more money in ecosystem and gadgets.
That’s why iOS is also developers number one choice after all these years even when it would make sense that Android 86% share would make developers whole lot more money, but it’s just a sign how very big majority of Android phone sales are those $200 phones and those people don’t tend to invest to ecosystem. So that’s why Android with such a big share makes so much less money with such a big userbase. It’s just like smartwatch sales. Apple is number one because they have most potential userbase to buy smartwatches and again same with AirPods or with tablets. If you own expensive device you are more likely to buy another expensive gadgets to work with your phone.

There is no deny Apple products are one of the best. Else no one will bother to critic it, nor is there a need to call iPhone Killer, every year after year.
Its priced as it is is because no one even come close to it. If you wish Apple to reduce price, take a look at all the competitors. And yes, Apple does reduce its price, if the competitors manage to catch up.

Samsung is mostly selling cheap phones so they can sell a lot of units. That’s never been Apple goal. They completely own the high-end market and now they are starting to own top mid-end market too. There’s not much left for Android companies than selling cheap low end phones because Apple is taking other markets. I know this is hard thing to swallow for you, but it just reality you need to accept. I bet you are those who have been said for many years that Apple is doomed and think every year that they go down when in fact they do better and better.

Just like Samsung is now lowering their phone prices because they went too high and their S20 line was big flop.
Also when Apple sees how huge iPhone 12 sales are i think they want to keep this pricing because they clearly hit the sweet spot.

It's going to cost 1,800 dollars because of the 120Hz display may be by the time it is released other brands will be using 240Hz refresh rate. In 2030, apple phones will finally have an under display fingerprint scanner and a hole punch display.
