tbh A51 is a decent phone, especially now that you can get 6/128 and 8/128 versions for 230-240€

in order to answer for your question, M series are not widely available it is limited to India and some middle east region (i hope so) whereas A series are widely available.

Doesn't give up. Yeah, what even the point of the A51 when for the same price (or lower) you can have the Galaxy M31 which :
*Is almost the same size.
*Have the same SoC.
*Goes from 4GB to 6GB of RAM.
*Have a better camera (from IMX 582 to Bright S5KGW1).
*Goes from 4000mAh battery to a 6000mAh one.
Only differences are punch hole to teardrop notch, underdisplay fingerprint scanner to on the back fingerprint scanner.
And only cons are 64GB memory only vs 128GB, Ultra-Wide from 12Mp to 8Mp, no more Galileo sat nav.
Or the Galaxy M31s which is even better than the M31 and A51 together, and has for only difference against the A51 the fingerprint scanner on the side rather than on the back or in the display and now have an IMX682 over the IMX582 or the Bright GW1 and cost barely more.
