The most difficult thing is to remove the band after charging. As someone wrote, it needs a screwdriver and a hammer to remove it !!!

Not a smart band.
It will record sleep pattern even after waking up and removing the watch from the wrist. Sleep recording is not reliable
It does not have an inbuilt GPS tracker, rather it relies on the One Plus app in the mobile and it should be connected with the watch and also GPS should be on in the mobile. This means when one is running or walking mobile has to be carried along and connected to the watch. Then what use is this watch for? These facilities are available in various apps available in Play Store and can be used effectively in the mobile.
Further, there is no option to set STEP LENGTH which is used to calculate distance while walking when not connected to GPS through mobile. Recordings are incorrect without GPS.
Please don’t use this watch for seeing time while driving, because it takes nearly a second and more for the display to wake up and attention on the road is lost while trying to know the time from this watch while driving. At times the display won’t wake up.
After putting the watch on charging it automatically reverts to lowest brightness (20%). Battery is not holding as claimed. Without regular heartbeat monitoring, SPO2 monitoring during sleep being Off and Bluetooth not connected the battery reaches 40% remaining within 3 to 4 days. Please note that display is not ON forever, even then the battery is not efficient as claimed.
SPO2 tracking only 80% of the reading is accurate. Can’t rely on it.
This watch won’t read heartbeat if it is not worn tight around the wrist, making it uncomfortable. Readings are not forthcoming if the skin is Hairy.
This is neither a smart watch nor a watch. This is a showpiece not worth showing.
Using since 18 Jan 2021, bought through Flipkart.

mahesh, 13 Jan 2021What is the OS? Wear OS? Tizen? Anything else? What apps... moreDude, the price of this band would have made it obvious that it is the same as any other bands on the market so of course it wouldnt use wear os or have any apps

It looks decent, it has a better screen than my Fitbit, but the fact that it only lasted the reviewer 7 days with the heart-rate monitor set to every 2 minutes is disappointing. My Fitbit does continuous monitoring and lasts 8-9 days. Albeit, this band is 1/4 the price of my fitbit.

What is the OS? Wear OS? Tizen? Anything else? What apps on the Android phone / tab does it work with? I prefer the (hardware vendor neutral) Google Fit. What about Strava? Does this auto detect activities? Like stair climbing, walking, cycling, running, etc? The reviewer needs to engage in these activities while wearing the watch.

maxmin, 11 Jan 2021Interesting first effort. The article didn't say but ... moreAgreed. If you want an Built in GPS you only have two options today:
1) Huawei Band 5: Which has Built in GPS but no Oximeter
2) Huawei Band 4 Pro: Which has Built in GPS and Oximeter, and this is the best Smartband that exists, and it has any other health sensor that you can imagine for a Wearable device

Nice review, but does it play nice with Strava and other fitness apps? As in: can Strava use the HRM of the device? My guess is it won't.

Interesting first effort. The article didn't say but I presume no built in GPS at that price and battery life. Built in GPS is a must for me since I like to run without my phone. I'll stick with my Garmin Forerunner 35.

How does it perform in light rain ? Mi band goes crazy , adding alarms changing settings randomly. Also the display lights up in my face while sleeping which is annoying.
