A perfect balance between performance, features and price. But you can't buy them.

joao1973, 18 Jan 2021Well GSM arena....do you know were is the 100$ usd diffrenc... morePhiaton 900 Legacy is US$100 cheaper than current WH-1000XM4 which is awarding winning, but it seems that previous model WH-1000XM3 is still better than Phiaton 900 Legacy yet only US$15 cheaper, more importantly, Phiaton 900 Legacy sound worse than WH-1000XM3 and more bass dominate than it, why even bother, yes, LDAC is best audio codec, but not many phones and not all digital audio players support it

Base override propensity would be a concern for some but otherwise reads very good

So they look cheap thanks to the chosen design and don't sound that great.. Doesn't matter if the rest is good, sadly.

Well GSM arena....do you know were is the 100$ usd diffrence????
is on the quality of the drivers, Sony dirvers are better.....and you guys forget of another detail....Sony have the best bluetooth codec that is LDAC

ok, but cannot compare those to sony, xm3 and xm4 got ldac and xm3 is for 250 euro now, so its about the same price.

Not bad. Design is also good. But after all Sony is better. People who pay 250 dollars can pay 350 too. I wanted to buy Sony but decided to buy Skullcandy Crusher Evo and wait for Sony's new version.

              Pros & cons?

amazon price for Phiaton 900 Legacy US$225, but for what hifi award willing sony wh-1000xm3 at US$235, what do you think every would buy?

See people, it has an optional wired connection possibility, the 3.5mm Jack port is on the device, but it is still able to perfectly work wirelessly.
The same way your phone can work without any issue with or without the 3.5mm Jack, so there isn't any single reason in the world to advocate for the removal of the 3.5mm Jack, YOU prefer wireless, other prefer wired, both are possible without preventing the other to be available.
