google just killed their internal stadia game studios, thus, no more exclusives from google, a slap in the face for people who purchased google stadia, only a matter of time that google will close stadia for good.

I probably still need VPN to get this working so i dont much care for it.
I have no clue what is the reason why it's not available in my country that have great infrastructure for internet connection. I have 200Mbps connection while i alo can get 500 Mbps and even 1Gbps connection. I even have 5G for mobile and there is pretty much no spot in my country where i dont have connection for 4G

Half baked products is what LG does best , drops support after a short while too. Stick with dedicated devices.

AnonD-973296, 12 Jan 2021i currently use geforce now. but i'm willing to give a... moreI had Game Pass Ultimate (for about 5 months) and briefly PS Now (for about 1 month), now I have Google Stadia.
Depends on what you want. No service is perfect, each has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Game Pass Ultimate (xcloud included) has the newest games coming to the service for free, but from my own experience has poor connection. Sometimes the games have lag and the experience is not very good all the time. I live in Central Europe and have a good internet connection (100mbps/100mbps), maybe in other parts of the world is better.
Google Stadia has almost perfect connection and the games run smooth and without issues. Also you can play on any device (including IOS). But the library is not that big. Also, you need to purchase the games on the platform. You have an option for Stadia Pro subscription (10EUR/month) that gives you access to some free games plus very nice discounts from time to time (I purchased Tomb Raider for about 3.5EUR).
PS Now has the largest game library of all (also because it's the oldest one around). But, it works only on Play Station consoles and windows devices (PC/laptop). Also, the service is not that good (especially on PC). I think, and is only my opinion, that Sony doesn't invest so much time into this service. It looks like is running on its own, it doesn't look very polished.

For my needs, now I am using only Google Stadia. Google really looks like is investing time and money on the service. Since the end of 2019, the service really looks different and updated. Also, Google has officially announce that they will release around 400 titles from 200 developers in the next years for this platform. So, the future looks promising.

Hey LG, why not make a tv that lasts beyond the factory warranty period before the wifi fails consistently.
Or upgrade some of the 2 year old tv's to the newer WebOS versions.

I guess that means LG is finally going to get WebOS a modern browser.

Got stadia recently and it's been a blast. Really impressed so far, though I wish the haptics were a tad better on the controller (minor gripe). Would love to have it integrated into a TV. LG make the best OLEDs too.

It's actually great, very smooth and responsive. It does depend on your Internet though and the 4k is a bit compressed. Ironically it plays Cyberpunk better than the newest consoles.

Hoping that other manufacturers would follow suit, rather than buying a 500 usd console and 60 usd per game this would be a great alternative. Now its up to google to support more games if this is going mainstream...But who am I to argue, im just playing Doom and rage 2 all day in its 4k glory . its a good thing that Stadia survived 2020 and its breathing new life to the television.
