Android is very buggy with fragmentation on the graphics chips that slow down the software update process and has more crashes on games than other two platforms

Anonymous, 31 Aug 2012what was your last android or you are only talking because ... moreNever owned android, the reason..i work in a senoir role in a telco company and 80% of faulty phones are Android and a concerning number of people who buy Android phones are coming back complaining to our customer service department wanting to swap their Android phone for anything but Android.
No i am not a fanboy...not even close.
Just pointing out hard facts...

wp8 is only with some android available features with ugly metro ui only!by the way ics is running like the other user said even on xperia tipo or live with walkman glitch free! you are only some apple fanboys that are saying that!!!

( androdi is smooth very much but if you use a 2009 device it won't be of course!!!) i have galaxy s2 and sony ericsson live with walkman and no lags at all! veery fast and fluid with best multitasking! what are your droids that lags?? by the way if you use adreno or mali gpus you won't find lags because those gpus are very simple!! android is already at top and wp8 is a new os with some new features that android already has and with ugly tiles and metro ui!!

I love windows OS, using iOS right now and cant wait for a flagship WP8 to come out.
Windows runs on par with iOS for smoothness and lagfree operation, cant say the same for Android though.
I think WP8 will surprise a lot of people and turn a few fanboys in the process.
If Android did not sell poverty phones to make up the market share, WP8 will kill it in the numbers game.
This should be intersting over the next few months.

By the way. I saw liveicons(buttons or tile) in action in wp7.5 and are amazing. And another unic caracteristic among all major mobile os in wp7.5 is fluidity of interface. Anything is fluid, is realistic. As programmer I hope android platform will remain open. The mobile os battle seems to become the same as was in the past Linux vs Windows.

i love android because of huge very nice apps like playstation and huge pcapabilities and w8 as it is really good but it reached maximum as android till now! multicore, micro sd, lte in wp8 , some improvements, all are already in android but however it is the time of the real competition not like ios vs android which is clearly for android! :)i will love to see really 30% for all three and 10 %$ for others however!

In two years from now you'll see marketshare statistics like 30% ios, 30% android, 30%wp and... amazing 10% others experimental and exotic mobile os. All major mobile os are american. I'm android user for about 2 years but I must admit that microsoft is to big to be defeat. In fact microsoft ''defeat concept'' was and is only an illusion. This is cruel but real situation today and for many years from now on. And must not forget another big player. Close friend of microsoft. Intel. I'm afraid kids game is over. It's now time for giants game. The game become serious. Nokia will become for microsoft an suffix like samsung for gogl. Apple is just apple. Only Big Blue can mediate this situation. Game over for others.

iOS is what Android can ever hope to achieve. Android isn't anywhere near iOS in terms of design, and Windows Phone is superior to both of them.

Apple will leave this be as well until it becomes a threat to its ecosystem. When or if WP7/8/? become market leaders the devices will all of a sudden be found to infringe on several Apple patents. Same as happened with the Galaxy line of Android handsets. Nothing was violating until people started choosing it over the iPhone. Then all hell broke loose and everything under the sun was a violation.

How do you define boring? its such a usable interface and gets things done quickly. its awesome, shame they are not supporting the wp7.5 devices, thing that's a major mistake. if they can get jelly bean on a Motorola droid why cant wp8 be on older devices!
