I'm confused between htc desire v and htc desire x???

Even though this phone comes with dual-core CPUs. They are based on the lower end Cortex A5 architecture. A5 lacks L2 Cache and its performance is about 60% of an A9.
So despite having dual-core, Desire X should performance about the same as the single-core One V. With a less powerful GPU, no wonder why it is priced lower than the One V.

Don't like how HTC is manufacturing its phones like Apple does. I.e. The casing is difficult to open thus making repaires more difficult.

The only difference between desire vt and this is the dual core processor, RAM size and may be slightly lesser in price compared to desire vt..
This suits for a budget minded buyer..

so this is a phone, with seemingly better spces than the one v and desire vc, and yet, how is it supposed to be priced below the one v?
Also, When is this releasing in Indian markets?

Unlike the Snapdragon S4 SoC we're familiar with, the 28 nanometer model with a pair of 1.5 GHz Krait cores and an Adreno 225 graphics processor, the S4 Play is a 45 nanometer SoC that uses a pair of ARM Cortex A5 cores and the Adreno 203. Performance wise, ARM says that a Cortex A5 can deliver 1.57 DMIPS/MHz. To put that into some perspective, the Cortex A8 delivers 2.0 DMIPS/MHz, and the Cortex A9 that's inside many of today's devices can pump out 2.50 DMIPS/MHz.

so when GSM ARENA , techradar guys say its specs are not good enough.... believe them....n if its priced above one v then guess its over priced...

Well, judging from the similarities to Desire S, I think the release of this phone means there won't be an ICS update any time soon for the S. This is really embarrassing for HTC and one of the main reasons I don't go for Android yet.
