But for a good idea, you can try choosing between MSI GF65 Thin 9SD 890IN and ASUS ROG GA502DU.... The latter has MaxQ design so you can avoid it.

HP Omen is cheaper, but I don't recommend it for reliability issues. If you can trust the brand, consider it.
In other hardware, try for a AMD based processor, 16GB RAM and a 120-144 Hz screen...

My next laptop will not have an Intel inside. I almost bought the ASUS TUF with Ryzen 4900H but then it was a bummer because they offered just a few pieces for the whole country and it sold out immediately. But I will do my best to get my hands on the new TUF.

AnonD-973296, 15 Jan 2021are they good? They're definitely better with smaller construction as opposed to this 10th gen, most of which are still on 14nm or something...
Smaller construction leads to lower electricity consumption and lesser heat thus enabling better sustained and potential performance.

You can however get a decent AMD-Processor & GPU based gaming laptop for around $900, which is good enough for most needs, for some years.

Notebook prices are crazy expensive. Very difficult to find decent and practical under USD 500.
