When I take them off, everything looks fuzzy and makes my head hurt. If only Samsung knew a lot of people prefer 1440p resolution over 120Hz. Or they figured out how to put both high resolution and refresh rate. Wait for the S22.

Note7 owner, 15 Jan 2021Nah no real reason to "upgrade" my Note 10+ 5G. Unless you really want that small compact form factor, which I do.

Got the s21. The display honestly sucks. Does not feel like an s lineup screen. Everything is blurry and fuzzy. Coming from an S7 ,here the screen was better, for a 2016 flagship.... I onhestly hate de S21 screen. Makes my eyes Hurt after 5 mn of use.

Would be nice if the s21 existed with a QHD screen. Or if the s21 ultra wasn't just so massive.

Why are there no flagship cpact phones anymore.

I will hold onto my s9+ as long as i can! Unless they would come back to a micro sd slot, I don't see the need! 3+ years, battery still good & I have a slot for extra storage! Sad you would decide that feature isn't necessary!

Samsung are playing a very intricate game with consumers and even its long standing fan base.

Go for a Google Pixel, OnePlus or iPhone people.

It is a pitty but without SD card slot and no headphone jack I will not buy any of these phones... I also do not like the curved screen on the Ultra... Looking at the current industry trends (I do not like trends) it seems my Note 9 will grow very old (might need a new battery sometime soon)...
Why is there not at least one "old fashioned" high-end phone with reasonable specs om the market? (headhone jack (maybe two?), removable battery, Oled-display, IP68, rectangular display, fm-radio, more 4:3 display ratio) Am I the only one who wants this?

K, 15 Jan 2021QHD Display consumes more battery than FHD Display. That is... moreNo excuses. Pentile matrix OLED is not Full HD. That's why you need "WQHD" which is 1080P if you count the pixels. This info is not new. They simply cheaped out and try to make "Ultra" models more compelling.

K, 15 Jan 2021QHD Display consumes more battery than FHD Display. That is... moreK i understand that QHD display uses more power than FHD, but why does S21+ has a FHD Display??? That phone had a bigger battery and while FHD is gd enuf for a 6.2in S21, S21+ is a 6.7in phone.

Also, S21+ costs $900+, and it's weird to see how Xiaomi is outclassing Samsung in their displays (Mi 11 which costs cheaper than S21+ has QHD and high refresh rate too)

That is why samsung put the battery the same since FHD consumes less battery than QHD. And this FHD also has adaptive refresh rate which is also easier comparatively than a non adaptive refresh rate screen. And 888 chip is more battery friendly than 865 chip.

Samsung's product designers are stupid to skip the card slot from their S21 line (since it was one major advantage against other chinese and american producers). The possibility to expand the storage via microSD-cards enables the device to grow with the demands of the users during course of time. Media data files get more and more big with features like 108 MP photos or 8k videos. Cloud storage is stupid, since the data plan is often quite limited and mobile network has gaps. Performance of the memory cards are good for handling such media data, documents and more. And when there is the need to reset a phone, the stored data on an external memory makes life very easy. So why shall (top) smartphones with a card slot shall be a kind of "dying breed"? I rather expect from a top smartphone, that it offers such an expansion option, since such a simple feature makes that device way more sustainable. I hope that the buyer's community will neglect the S21 series as they did with the Galaxy S6. Meanwhile it is time to kick Samsung's product designers and the head of the mobile devices department out of the company. Potentially more intelligent folks will bring Samsung back to a strategy / behaviour, which includes much more respect and feature orientation in favour of their customer audience!
