Does this mean that the Snapdragon S3 running Xperia TX is beating the quad core phones??? What the heck did Sony do to optimize the CPU then???!!! Or is there a mistake in the specifications of the TX and is it maybe running Snapdragon S4???

This somehow proves that having many cores (quad core) doesn't guarantee the speed of the smartphone. The result is quite surprising. One thing I don't like is the weird name of SONY NXT phones.. V, J, T, tipo, miro.. lol

Anonymous, 30 Aug 2012Optimus G will be the King!Optimus G may have the specs. But in the end it's still an LG. Meaning you're going to have a sh*tty UI, sh*tty support and sh*tty experience all round. This is why I'll never go for an LG, even if they pull out an octo-core phone.

Anonymous, 30 Aug 2012just wait for the king optimus g.As much as I'd like to see the S4 pro chipset in a handset ASAP, I gotta feeling that LG will find out a way to spoil the whole deal.

This only shows... Samsung, Nvidia and TI should have their A15 chipsets already out in the market. They're taking too long and only wanna milk even the last drop from the A9 chips. Thanks Qualcomm for bringing the next gen SoCs faster.

Benchmarks is one thing..but the support of the manufacturer and how big the dev community supports your device is another.
