It's better to argue with Google Assistant or Siri or even Discord's bots. At least, I'd know I am talking with a bot.

Overpriced, and they should give 48mp wide camera not stupid 8mp

SShreyas, 19 Jan 2021I will stick to my statement. "You have God damn level... more But, for your justification part. I had stated TWICE (this is third time) that unlike unoptimized OSes, iOS don't need high refresh rate to mask it's optimization. In iPhone, higher refresh rate will only be used in gaming (which apparently has never been a priority for Apple even for MacBook), otherwise it's a WASTAGE of battery only. Since most of the games still don't support high refresh rates, it doesn't make any sense to cry for it just because some other RAM-eating, unoptimized OS need it.

yet iphones are getting 120 HZ refresh rates in 2021. Just like burn ins of amoleds (which was apparently one of causes of android flagships lasting 2 years circa iphone 7/8) miraculously dissipated when iphones started using them, 120 HZ will become objective difference soon enough.....

Also, I am not assuming anything. Only the person who has never used an android in past 6 years will compare it to a lumia.... Google is probably worst example you could give for hardware. Judging 90 HZ refresh by googles example is like saying all iphones bend since iphone 6 did. It's nonsensical. Oneplus nord has 90 Hz, so does op8. iphones below 400 don't even last 1/2 a day off the chargers, so comparing mid range androids with 1000$ iphones is another level of delusion. Samsungs 120 Hz was never problematic, neither was oneplus, nor oppo, vivo, xiaomi and billion others

And yeah, morally, it'll be better for unverified "Anonymous" accounts to call a verified accounts as trolls.

Being verified has 0 correlation with being or not being a troll. It only takes an email to verify your account. I am to lazy to do so here, and at this junction I am convinced that you are just a troll with email. I'd rather prefer to not make a random mail for gsma compared to trolling after verifying email account with a random id

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2021I was referring to Android phones, which are still sold....... moreI will stick to my statement. "You have God damn level of understanding".
I know you were talking of Android phones. But then how do you "assumed" that I haven't used any Android from past 6 years? Just because I mentioned my 6 year old, half a GB RAM-phone which was more fluid than most of garbage of today?

My bad. I just checked that I was wrong regarding software update.

I hope you are aware of the fiasco created by "90Hz refresh rate panel" on Pixel 4.

I am not a fanboy of Apple. But I admire it as much as I do OnePlus.

Two, no they can't, it is hardware limitation not software if they ordered 60 hz displays from Samsung (which they did to save money), they can't overclock it to 120 with update. Polling rate is not the same as refresh rate. They will have it on next iPhone tho, Don't worry. How would you justify it then? Start thinking. To be fair, you need reading comprehension in order to think, so I'm afraid this activitiy might not be for you

Windows Phone Store has been shut down 3 years ago, in 2018. There is no way I can be using them right now.
Do you like asking riddles or "guess-who-I-am"? I shall answer you in a similar way.
"The device you talked of have a very huge base of designers. And those designers NEED that screen. At least I can't even think of drawing a sketch on a 6" screen, with 19.5:9 aspect"
It's simple. They can easily push an update and remove the "60Hz" bar on their phone (yes, they very well can), when there will be a NEED for it, rather than persuading people at the cost of battery life.

Oh that's typical of Android phone manufacturers-to sell useless lenshole gimmicks, isn't it?

Those arguments ... morelol, you haven't used ny android phone since past 6 years and are commenting on the topic you have 0 knowledge about. It's been proven over and over that modern android flagships have smoother UI than iphones. And if 120 hz is no big deal, why did apple bother with a device in 2018 having 120 hz display(hint, it was cheaper than iphone)?

[deleted post]What do you mean by "debunked"?
Those arguments can't be debunked until Google optimizes Android. An iPhone with 4 GB RAM will work more smoothly than Androids with 6 or 8GBs of RAM

Yes, people might NEED high refresh rates some years from now when Android games would actually support it. Till then, it is just a tool to mask the unoptimised Android. And Apple don't need to implement it till then.

Oh wait. My 6 year old Microsoft Lumia 635 with 512MBs of RAM also had smoother UI than most of today's Android mid-rangers

On other hand you have buy at least 2 androids. So comparing overall expenditure for 5 years, android is anyday more expensive.

I know not many people use their iPhone for that many time, but at least they have an option, unlike Android users.

At it's current price, Realme's X2 Pro seems a better value, but I can't find the 8/128GB version anywhere in stock.

It's not smartphone's AMD. It's just a cheaper alternative that performs like a cheaper alternative.

[deleted post]Because that phone doesn't need triple digit refresh rate. It has a fluid OS anyway, unlike RAM eating, unoptimised OS.
As far as apps/games are concerned most of them don't support high refresh rates
