Please no 3.5mm jack with mediocre cooling system , so I can laugh the user with my blackshark5 as I laugh rog3 with my blackshark3 hahahaha. I also laugh at rog2 with my bs2pro (34ms touch latency vs rog2 49ms)
Thats the "price" you have to pay buying "brand"

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2021lolMy blackshark 3 drop in my toilet for 1 sec and i immediately turn it off after picked it up. No damage seen, some water get in speaker but i can tap that water out on table with tissue as tapping surface. My mi5s plus also drop the same way into water back in 2017 and survived.

Ok I know spend ~$1000 to play in a small screen is dumb compared to buy a PC/Console for half of the price, but this class of cellphones is what makes me have some good quality games to play (instead the pay to win mobile game filth that always existed in Google play.

I didn't ask for much, just at least an attempt of protection
but maybe it is only my bad luck, maybe i had a worse phone, i don't know. but
i also have a oneplus 6 from like 3 years and it still survive at my mistake water drops or whatever i do :(
it's impossible to be 100% careful.

Even if the ROG 5 were to be announced in March, it could be released in June for all we know since they may fight to get mmWave in there (with South Korea and China supposedly going live with it this year).

Maybe the new ROG phone use an overclocked SD 888 just like the first ROG phone with the overclocked SD 845. This time Asus will be more concentrated on fast charging, better screens and UI.

For those wondering about the possible skip of model name from ROG Phone 3 to 5, some already explained about 4 being an undesirable number because it sounds similar to 'death' in some Chinese dialects like Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien.
And it is not unusual. BBK brands (Oneplus, Oppo, Realme) all skipped the number 4 in their phone model names.
