Is tha... moreIf you are talking about realme x2 pro then definitely a good phone with all aspects covered well but it is an old phone launched on Android 9 so I'll suggest to wait for x7 series instead except the camera there is upgrade in every section so keeping no of software updates left I will ask you to avoid a phone that ruled the market once upon a time 😊😊😊 hope this turns out to be useful for you

You are probably wrong. Manufacturers is not deciding only by speed. Cost is most important factor here. Cost of Exynos 1080 is probably closer to Snapdragon 870/888 rather than Dimensity 1100/1200.
Cost of SoC alone is not enough to lower the price of a near flagship device. They have to cut the cost of display and cameras. Because those are most expensive parts of a phone.
Dimensity 1100/1200 fits better to this price bracket. It's cost will be closer to successor to Snapdragon 765.

I think Exynos 1080 even might offer better value.

Transistors density is very close...
Remember when Apple used both TSMC's 16nm and Samsung's 14nm on A9. TSMC's was better!
Seeing Mi11 and iQoo 7's heating problems, we can have some doubts.
Same with GPU...with the same 9 cores Mali G77, Dimensity 1000+ gives better and far more sustained performances than Exynos 990 with 11 cores.
This year, improvements between G77 and G78 aren't huge (in the past, we get x2 between G72 and G76 and x1.3 between G76 and G77), except G78 allows up to 24 cores when G77 allows up to 16...
Plus you've got AV1 hardware support on Dimensity 1100 and 1200.
Samsung adds it on 2100 but not on 1080.
Snapdragon 888 still uses an outdated video décoder.

1K, 20 Jan 2021omg disaster Why is it a disaster? it has a good and decently compact screen,a 120 hz refresh rate,lots of ram and lots of storage,decent cameras I assume,good performance, fast charging, a big battery and it launches with Android 11 out of the box/realme ui2.0.

realme lover, 20 Jan 2021realme x7 pro is released last month, it is new in market. ... morex7 pro has been out since september, late to global markets but this one also will come late to them as well it'll be more expensive since its far better
