In this age releasing anything with such humongous bezels should be a crime.

        1. Why GSMarena is posting articles about Chromebooks, I don't know. Maybe they shall open a new site 2in1laptops.com?!
        2. My Lenovo tablet just died. However, to have a physical keyboard it's definitely an advantage, so I looked for a Chromebook. A performant one it's expensive. So, I opted for a 14" Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14ITL05 14" Notebook, Intel i5, 12GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 10, battery 11 hours, on sale at Staples - $589.99, free shipping. I believe such a 2-in-one Windows powered it's superior to a Chromebook.

YUKI93, 20 Jan 2021More than that, I see no point of having a Chromebook devic... moreThe problem with Android tablets is that they are updated for maximum 3 years. Even the premium ones.
New Chromebooks get updates from Google for 8 years. Older models for 5 years.

I wanted to buy the Galaxy Tab S7+. But, for about the same price I got the Acer Spin 713 Chromebook. On paper the tablet is better (oled screen, 120hz, better speakers). But, after 3 years is bye bye. I will get maybe 250EUR for it. My Chromebook will receive updates until 2028 according to the official website.
Also, if you buy an Android tablet, no matter how you look at it, is still a bigger phone. And it performs like one. The Chromebook feels and performs like a laptop.

So, if you want a secondary device, yes a tablet is better. But, if you want a laptop replacements, Chromebooks are the way to go.

This are entry level Chromebooks. The more expensive ones are far better equipped (display, internals, etc.). I own an Acer Spin 713 Chromebook for which I pay around 750EUR and was totally worth it. My Chromebook (with i3 10th gen) performs better and smoother than my Dell Latitude from work (with i7).
The advantage of Chromebooks (especially for those that didn't own one before) is that they work very good also on entry level specs. Much better than Windows 10 does on this entry level cpu's. Because Chrome OS doesn't require so much resources.
You can imagine a MacBook, but made by Google. Also, you have access to Play Store. So basically you can install any app or game from Play Store. Pair this with your Android phone, and you don't need anything else, trust me. Is the same flawless combination between an iphone and a MacBook.

Even a premium midrange Snapdragon 700 series chipset is way more than capable.

why you use this OS? windows has a lot of feature... $400 lol i would buy used core i3-i5 laptop or PC with even more great performance.

Arggggggghhhh crappy Intel N series .... arggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I have an Asus C301 Chromebook. I was looking for a cheap upgrade.
A new i3 or Ryzen 5 would have been ideal.
