Android 12 will reportedly feature App Pairs to simplify launching apps in split screen mode

This feature is already available on multiple custom UIs, but those are implemented by the phone makers instead of Google.

App pairs sounds like an excessively complicated and unneeded feature.
Restricted networking mode should be able to be applied to ANY apps. Restricting it to user-installed apps is just another way to allow Google/intelligence agencies to spy on you.

I just hope Restricted Networking Mode allows us to select apps to restrict.
