Little updates in its global... moreYep I bought the S5 hoping that there would be custom roms for it because the stock one is so bad and so far there hasn't been a big demand for development. Don't get me started on there customer service also. I think it's the last red magic phone I buy.

Zero existence of custom rom.
Little updates in its global rom.
Mid-range in price.
Many great things in its spec.
Conclusion:
I will not get the rm6 unless they can make their OS in global rom as good as their Chinese rom.
Or, they do support the update of the phone for more than 2 years.
I own a rm3s.
It is really awesome when playing games.

The updates are not fast as flagship phone but still it fastest among other gaming phone brand. And with a lot of custom rom available. The camera also i feel is the best than other gaming phone (except if you like quantity more than quality, then go for iqoo because it has telephoto camera. P/s: the quality is still meh.) Plus asus rog has many gcam mod compatible if you need better quality

RedMagic series had always been not bad, but after using ROG 2. I am going for ROG 4. As someone pointed out, RedMagic OS support globally is quite bad. Asus ROG is slow but still have updates.

Will they improve the 8k 15fps 70b/s video, by making it 14fps this time (that's not 24fps third wrong)?
Will, it lack this or that app access (where did they go with that issue)? Will it be $800 instead of $327 this time.
USB 4/3.2 with video out, or memory card, or 5 channel microphone headphone balanced 3.5mm jack, or descent 8k video?
I would have had more respect if they had delivered pro video and 50/60 8k pro video this time. They could have made a case cradle that took pro cards or SSD.

Their translation issue from 2 years ago are still there without been fixed by nubia. And custom rom support for this phone is almost to non existence at all

Red magic have amazing night mode on there photos. In some ways better than the iPhone 11 Pro max night mode. But it's meant to be a gaming phone... Not a camera phone. Not too interested in camera department. But still takes good photos. Much better than expected.
For me. Priority is Gaming first. Phone second. Camera last. And that's why I love red magic. But cameras are very good actually.
