Weekly poll: can vivo X60 Pro+'s flagship chipset and camera convince you to buy one?

24 January 2021
With a Snapdragon 888 and a fully-loaded quad camera, the only thing that's missing is a launch date outside of China.

Sort by:

No, because it will probably be China exclusive.

Not yet, Zeiss deserves a Sony sensor behind it.

mangyiscute, 24 Jan 2021the issue is photography nowadays depends way more on softw... moreThey are not.

Photos that look instagram filter are far from correct.
A real camera would never does this.
This means phone is doing wrong.

Flat screen, flat screen, flat screen!!!!!

Companies never fake their sample photos before. (/s)
There is no way those pictures were took from the actual phone and even if they did I'm gonna wait DXOMark review and we will see the price.

the issue is photography nowadays depends way more on software than hardware - look how much better apple and google photos are than many other phones with superior hardware. You can't look at specs for camera, and therefore I don't expect this camera to be anywhere near the apple/samsung/google/huawei level.

The battery capacity is insufficient for me, that's the main reason i won't buy this phone.
Also, Vivo tend to overprice their phones.

For an expensive phone, it lacks :

                          1. Wireless charging (must have)
                          2. Ip rating (optional)
                          3. Great quality telephoto cam (periscope only 8 MP and 2x zoom has no OIS)
                          4. Qhd+ (optional)

Otherwise, it is an great phone. And if you don't need such an great camera, Mi 11 will kill this phone easily. If you need awesome camera and awesome phone under $1000, wait for P50 Pro and others to come out this year

I am impressed, but i am waiting for :

                            1. Huawei P50 Pro
                            2. Mi 11 Pro
                            3. Oneplus 9 Pro

Because those all have great cameras, except Oneplus. And will offer top end performance and good design.

These phones do offer amazing value in China. But when it's outside these value drops even more than Samsung phone.

Nice photos... It had to take a lot of work with photoshop to make them look like this. And yet in the detail they are so ugly...

Vivo's UX/UI/updates/support is shit and has been for years.

Until they fix that, it's definite NO, as their phones are throwaway products without proper support and also retail/repair network.
