Tell me one thing... Why would I buy a Mac to run Windows? That Windows on Mac is also half baked as code isn't optimized properly for ARM.
Most people aren't going to buy Mac and run a bunch of Virtual apps to get Windows to work. They want something that "Just Works" out of the box.
I am happy running Windows on my laptop which has way better hardware than MacBook.
Only Mac that gets inside my house is Mac n Cheese 🧀

People need to understand that thinner doesn't necessarily mean more throttling nor worse battery runtime in this case. The current design of MBA is very inefficient - the proportion of the area for the metal heat dissipator against its body size is very small, and the wedge-shape chassis means it's far more difficult to pack higher capacity battery cells inside compared to a similarly sized rectangular chassis like the one used for MBP. A massive design overhaul could significantly improve its thermal envelope, battery life and the display size, all at the same time.

When will the MacBook Air launch? Previously, everyone claimed that it will come in 2022 and now you are saying it will launch in 2021 itself. Can you clear this please!

For me the greatest advantage of macbook air is that you don't have to worry about dust getting inside the system.
The pro has better battery life, but to me dust is the worst enemy.
But I really hope they improve the battery life rather than reduce it if they're really making it thinner.
I hope they don't ruin the keyboard with new experiments either.

It already beat both Intel and AMD laptops of the price range. The M1 Macbook Pro can exceed 20 hours SoT, something the competition has to beg for with only 8 hours SoT at best.
Watch Gary Explains or Linus Tech battery test. Doesn’t matter if the battery gets slightly smaller

inb4 these "thinner bezels" means apple will take design cues from huawei's matebook x or dell's 2020 xps series.
It's not the only thing that will become thinner and lighter, it'll work miracles on making your wallet look similar too!

Lighter will mean the battery will be smaller and the battery life will probably suck too with a bigger screen. But that’s how Apple works, make the battery smaller. Lol.
