Hopeful for it to have S pen features and bigger internal storage. I was planning to get galaxy tab a 8 w/ s pen but 32gb is too less for heavy note-taking and drawing output files.

I... moreI was also still waoting for one, but ended up buying the tab S5e instead because the battery life was meh after 3 years and my sister wanted the S2. But Samsung also decided to give the S-series LCD (tab S6 lite, S7) so it is sad. There are more people who want a nice, small OLED tablet which isn't too expensive.
The size is so nice. I think I will giving up OLED for my next tablet and switch to Apple, because tab A series will be too much of a downgrade 😅.
But this one would be nice for kids, small and not that expensive.

Outdated.
Im happy with my Huawei MatePad 10.4, fast and compact.
Google? No problem at all. Choose between the 2 apps: Dual Space or Gspace, it works just fine.

They could have atleast put an SD730G or HelioG90t in this tablet with a reasonable price tag. I am still looking for a better competitor to Mipad 4 in Android tablet with modern specs. Otherwise, the upcoming iPad Mini 6 will still be the only good option.

I would so so appreciate a high end Tablet with a state-of-the-art camera and internals, ips lcd, 8 - 8.4 inch size, no 5g. That would be fabulous!!

Yes, we need better midrange and budget tablets! Especially 8-9" tablets that can be held with one hand. Xiaomi Mipad 4 was the last good tablet under $300. All others have very obvious compromises in the form of absolutely horrible internal specifications. Tablets on A22 and Sd439 with no big cores are atrocious. If iPad mini models look like good value (one can argue that it is the only decent small tablet available in the market), then there is definitely something horribly wrong with the market.

Tablets are making a comeback this year due to the pandemuc, I hope Xiaomi and realme would not waist this opportunity in this segment and not waste in increasing the phone size to 7 inch or more. i think the week spot would be 6.1 to 6.4.
