Woohoo, 01 Feb 2021What other issues are plaguing the 12 series' screens?... moreWhat’s HRR?

Other issues include improper blacks, very warm hue to the screen 24/7 and flickering screen when it’s black on low brightness. I’ve experienced all of these, though the green tint is only noticeable at night time on low brightness. A shame really 😕

All I knew was some green tint issue on some models, other than the exclusion of HRR ofc😂

Did they finally use IGZO-TFT on their AMOLED panels?
*I think I have heard that they used IGZO-TFT for the Note 20 ULTRA.

I have P30 pro, XZ3 and note 10 all connected to the same Wifi network and are on the same mobile telecom. guess what?! Only samsung have bad standby battery drain. All 3 have different types of OLED , SOC and software optimization. Network quality should be my least worries.

Maybe it is just their business strategy to push people to spent more on the high end models, but it does seem like the vanilla S21 and the plus are totally different product from the ultra.

The green tint on the op7t and op8 series were so common it was like the entire first few batches were problematic. People replacing twice and still getting green tint. How could this be an assembly problem?
Oneplus custome care would say that it was the 'nature of oled display', and would cause no further issues. I can only see this as the oem accepting lower quality displays/not checking carefully during qc. Maybe samsung sells these green tint panels at lower price? But then there were iphones and s20 with green tint too.

Maybe theres simply high demand that they even make do with lower quality panels.
