I enjoy it when apple brings out new features and better specs because it means the competition has to lift their game and vice versa.

to all people here listen iPhone should be the only phone in the world and and we should go to apple store and pray every Sunday and once a year should go to apple HQ in California just like macca in Saudi.

I personally am very interested to see how this does, first because of their new screen ratio (while easier to hold, it is a bit too long). ALso, Developers probably won't be too thrilled. Also, the new connector won't be popular. And once again, the design isn't something new, it's tweaking the same design to a longer screen. Also, I'd be very surprised if the iPhone 5 doesn't have an A5x processor, simply because they can get away with it. The CPU preforms at least CLOSE to the current Droids, but with iOS 6 it should be nearly on par if not a tiny bit better. And then there's the GPU, which is already as good as the current batch of Android handsets. Otherwise the iPad may miss a generation of the A series processor. I also would like to see Apple's next gimmick, they're usually very impressive.

Good job apple, iphone is done.. yeah don't spend too much time for your boring devices, use it to sue all other brands it will make you good profits to build I-coffins that nokia might like to copy its design..

apple iphones ipads -we have bought new editions every year -- now we have decided to withdraw our custom from apple for apple greeds and sheer bad mad socalled patents wars against androids giving fair competitions via samsung higher end products .. almost every young doctor in uk has iphone and ipad and many nurses also -- thats at least 100000 new sales for apple every year in nhs alone .. uk mps and lords have ipads given free by uk govt .. apple have been arrogant abusing corporate powers .. very sadly .. apple have shamed themselves in the world .. samsung are merely small corp compared to apple .. we make open public appeal to apple inc.-- please stop rightnow all this nonsense of socalled patents wars and focus on better apple products and cheaper for mass consumers especially the young for long haul ..

All high end phones now days are great phones, each has pros and cons depending on your needs.
My new phone will be the note 2 but i can totally accept that a lot of people wont like it because of the big screen, just the same as many dont like the iphone because of the small (tiny to me) screen.

Simply brilliant!!!... Apple has once again reinvented the wheel.... The old rectangle with curved edges and same UI but now with a bigger screen!!!... Simply amazing.... Steve Jobs is spinning in his grave

SII sports a larger screen while the 4S sports a smaller screen. The two companies have different strategies...
Of course a smaller screen with today's resolution capabilities will be able to have a better ppi. Also, retina display uses LCD IPS technology manufactured by Samsung.
It is only a matter of time where Apple will abandon LCD technology and hop over to Samsung's/LG's OLED technology.
