AnonD-58527, 04 Sep 2012Just awesome.
Android fans will be here again claiming how... moreIt's the same nonsense over and over again.
You're the one lagging behind and everything around you is moving too fast for you to notice. It's your perception of things that's way slower than that of the people around you.
You need to speed up!
As for the rest of the world, enjoy the innovation and the fast moving world around you. But don't forget to feel sorry for this poor guy, who's too slow to follow.

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2012This was enough to made me switch from Android to Windows P... moreThe image quality on the 41 mp Pureview is nothing special. For example the dynamic range is just as, or even worse than in other compact camera sensors. Very easy to get highlight clipping in the pictures.
Surely some of you tech geeks would have loved to see that technology in the next gen Lumias, but the general public would only see big, bulky phones with bright colors. It would not have helped the sales figures that much.

I hate all of you guys that are switching from Android to Nokia (wp8) now. All of you that talk bs about this two brands for almost two years. Microsoft and Nokia did a great job with previous two models too and I hope that Nokia will introduce phone with new shape (design). Otherwise it will be litltle bit boring. Anyway they will still bring great devices.

the red one looks good.
Waiting for them to come though i might either get a 808 or stick with my n8 belle refresh.
Only 2 OS that definds itself and catches my interest would be Good old symbian and crackberry.

Just awesome.
Android fans will be here again claiming how
4.1 doesn't truly lag now for real this time. Heard that before with 4.0.x and 2.3 right?
Been using a lag-free phone from day 1 with WP7.
Second we all knew it was a preview to 8 as we waited for the Kernel update.
Third, we wanted to buy new hardware anyway to show our support for dual-cores under the NT kernel.

The red one is too good. It has rounded corners. Looks like exactly iphone 4s. I'm going to buy this. One of the rumor is the phone may be costing around $975 - $1050.

Sure they could make a 41MP with other high specs that cost $1000 and sell only a few. It's too early to tell how good the camera will be. I'd wait.

Tom, 04 Sep 2012Guys if this is really to have a 8 MP sensor and Nokia want... moreWhen don't switch from android!!! Enjoy ur fcs enjoy ur lack of office support and echo systems. Enjoy the 6hours battery life and just leave the smoothness and the stability for windows fans... This way it will be even more unique Is if thats even possible....
I have one x and Titan ii... Although all the hype and advertising and HTC support and hardware are on one x side... The wp7.5 enough made the Titan my main device! Finally the.

Guys if this is really to have a 8 MP sensor and Nokia wants to call it "PureView" than this is an epic fail. It this is true then tomorrow we will hear beautiful words at the press conference about a "software that makes that 8MP-sensor-sourced photos look great" or "cark zeiss optics". And where's the imaging sensor that's at the heart of the PureView technology?
The thing that's most interesting for me is whether Nokia deliberately dropped a real PureView from this device or maybe the Windows Phone 8 OS is so lacking that it couldn't support 40 MP images?
I can tell you that I was thinking for a long time about 808 because of the PureView tech but I didn't buy it because of the low-res screen. I was hoping I could buy a decent WP8 device in near future with this tech. And also for Nokia this could be a game changer that would help them stand out from the crowd.
I'm an Android fan and it would be hard for me to switch but I would do it for the PureView itself. But not for something that hasn't even stayed close to a PureView device. Bye Nokia.
